The layout wasn't that suitable for really young children (1-3yo's), we didn't know that Bed1 was upstairs and Bed2 was downstairs, so it might not be suitable if your kids aren't confident on stairs (particularly overnight).
While it was clean and tidy, it was also quite dated - no powerpoint in the bathroom, old (and a little corroded) fittings, bathroom decor reminded me of country motels I visited as a kid in the 80's. Upstairs bathroom ceiling was only 7' and seemed to be made of punched masonite (like those garage tool storage boards you can hang pegs on).
The WiFi, provided by an external organisation (not the venue's fault), was the worst I've used (I'm an IT guy, I know WiFI). It uses a browser popup to log in rather than storing in wireless network settings and therefore the username/password doesn't get stored permanently. Spent 3 days repeatedly logging in to get it working again, usually after laptop/iPhone/iPad had gone to sleep for a bit. Speed was way below average as well, in the end I gave up, paired with 4G on my phone and used my own data plan for everything.
Close to amenities and across the road from the river, lots of food and coffee options nearby, so a good location.
Apartment itself was clean and tidy, beds were comfortable, staff were really friendly and helpful, and the location was quiet (apart from the parrots/birds that seemed to get the party started from about 6am!!)
