great facilities, roomy apartments.
Tiles and grout in bathroom filthy. Carpets all needed cleaning too.
Great price, Easy check in/out, Friendly staff, Nice appartment.
Bathroom wasn't entirely clean-ammenities a little tired looking, Bed was composed of two singles pushed together, not one mattress, No air-flow in main bedroom, No way to control aircon-only low and high speed fan, No ice in the ice tray, Had paid for booked car space only to find there wasn't one when I arrived-later I had a parking notice left on windscreen by hotel which was a little rude.
I liked that we had 2 rooms
The others guests at 4 am creating excessive noise and a bad smell in the apartment.
During our stay at the Oaks Embassy the staff were amazingly helpful and overly enthausiastic to help in any way.. I travelled with 4children and the staff were very understanding in there daily duties. Thank you for your hospitality..
There was no blender in the kitchen.
We got upgraded to the Executive Suite for the night which was wonderful!
Issues with pool.
The room was not vacuumed which I found completely poor. The cupboards in the kitchen were covered in oil splatters to the right of the sink. Insufficient glasses. Shower was not clean, silocone was dirty around frame. Generally room was not cleaned satisfactory. Not good enough!
I traveled 3 hours hours away, to get there at 9.30pm and I went down for tafe. They then turn around and tell me that I can't stay because I'm not 18 ! I was so mad !
The room was not made-up for the first 7 days, had to call reception twice for extra toilet paper, The Hotel is next door to the Red Light District with Night Clubs music going until 3AM, There is mould in the shower, the airconditioning was in adequate, you cant use the balcony because the air conditioning condensor is too noisy and blowing hot air, there are no Bath Robes provided, The Gym had no power for spa,TVs or powered exercise machines, the "heated" pool was cold. There is no room service for meals, there is no dining room for guests only a "public" cafe where the homeless can breakfast
Swim gym and spa mentioned but was out of order.also parking facility was not great.
self contained apartment great for preparing own meals
floor did not get vacuumed once in our 9 day stay. DVD player broken.
The rooms were nice,we had a two bed apartment and the decor was nice. The front office staff were nice and it was close to the city.
Refusal of cleaning staff to make up bed with a cardigan on it, I could understand if the bed was covered in items but I have never had a refusal with one item that could have been moved. To me that was laziness. The TV was broken and the desk said the it would take 10 days, as we were only there for 4 days, I requested that they find me another one. Totally unacceptable, not to have tv on a holiday. If the company has a policy on the bed, it should be stated to us on arrival.
The hotel has easy access to good food, shops and places to go.
We did not have parking at the hotel for the first two nights. The pool water temperature was too cold for the kids to play in.
Was placed in a room that had multiple issues and was offered a move, which was great. However, the service here is being let down by a newish front desk officer who can't communicate politely, is instantly defensive and always poorly presented - if every othert male can button his top button and wear his tie all the way up, why can't you? The hotel would do better to let Russell go to a job that doesn't involve contact with humans - he's letting the side down.
2 small beds made into a big bed kept finding myself laying on the join
No free WiFi, which is a given in almost all other (even cheaper) locations. Never expected 'no parking' and 'no free WiFi' at this 4 star facility. Parking is in the adjacent car park but you have to pay for it on top of your cost for accommodation. Free WiFi is only for 0.5 hours over a 24 hour period with very limited data (1000Mb, from memory). This is just peanuts these days. Of course you can access WiFi if you wanted more but at a significant cost. Overall you will be much better off staying 10 minutes away from the city without losing these basics just to be in the middle of the CBD.
location , 2 bedroom apartment accommodation
A group of around 20 teenagers were in the room next to our apartment on saturday night partying. we reported it to reception next morning & they said we should have reported it at the time & security would have come up . Why did these kids get past the front desk in the first place ???
Spa sauna maintenance
A few hazards. No proper socket for kettle had to use socket behind microwave and have lead behind sink tap. In foyer carpet set low causing a tripping hazard. Not having a hotel car park space allocated.
Friendly atmosphere and service
Loved the high floor with views, the spa bath and the excellent service!
Oaks Regency is literally across the road. Excellent location
The apartment is closed to everything. It is comfortable and convenient. It is good value for money.
I found that it is difficult to park in front of the building and the car park entrance is the same as a public car park entrance so I enter to the public car park.
Good location & facilities for family seeking 2 bed apartment that had pool facilities.
Only one lift working due to maintenance & lengthy delays
