Wide opening windows, comfortable bed, spacious surroundings
The artwork! Brown swirls are not inviting.
I like the location, near myers, queen street and all walkibg distance shopping. the room has a washing machine with a kitchen and everything needed!
I didnt get a chance to have my appartment clean properly. My bed was made only 1 time out of the 5 nights i was there. And the bed wasnt even made properly. the curtain in the bedroom let the sunshine enter even at 5.30am it's not cool when you are on holiday and you want to stay in bed until late. The rubbish stayed there for 3 days. Lack of heater too, my aircon stayed at 22*c i couldnt go up so the room could warm up.
Rooms were well equiped, clean and comfortable. We used the gym and pool everyday, the BBQ facilities are fantastic. All in all I couldn't fault much.
The blinds in the bedroom did not block out the morning sun and the sun rose straight in to the bedroom directly in your face.
Great views of Brisbane river (select specific side of hotel).
Beware in summer if you want the windows open at night then you will get city traffic and garbage collection noises from the street in early morning if at lower levels.
room was tidy, view was great
got confirmation email stating I could get early check in. then had to pay $50 parking in a hotel that I was a guest at... never once was this mentioned on the booking ad. get to the room (I paid for a 2 bedroom) the master bedroom was locked as they assumed I wanted a 1 bedroom. very disappointed.
Walking distance to the CBD and all transport, including the CityCat at North Quay. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.
Unfortunately the pool was closed for renovations and it was definitely swimming weather!!!
Where it was in the city close to queen streets and wasnt expensive
I have to say that the bed was really comfortable. The apartment was nice and simple. It's small and cozy and hey the AC works. You do get a nice view and lovely breeze comes through the window.
The bathroom was awful. Whoever designed the bathroom needs to be exiled from Earth. The shower was just AWFUL.
All was good, but loved the convenience of a washing machine and dryer in our own appartment.
Kitchen was good
2 single beds pit as one. The middle join was firm and digs into you. Couches had bugs of some kind and caused us all to itch and wake with bites. Toilets too close and hidden behind door. Floor and carpets not clean.
Brilliant location. Within easy short travel pretty much anywhere. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgable staff. Spacious and comfortable rooms.
Dirty dishes in dishwasher when we arrived. Pool and spa closed for reno. Failed to mention when asked to print a few pages that it would end up on our bill.
Rooms are spacious, clean, well maintained. Accom close to shopping, dining and short walk to south bank
Can't say there was anything I didn't like
Room was neat, tidy and spacious
excellent reception service, location, river and garden views,
Excellent location, friendly, helpful front desk staff. Perfect choice of place to stay for a short or long break
Lovely outdoor/indoor area which made a difference to the space of apartment
The air con panel was hanging out the wall by the wires & finding apark to checkin difficult-we had to circle the block 3x before calling staff to find it
Location, close to restaurants, shopping etc.
Staff could have been friendlier. The 1.5% surcharge on Credit cards.including parking.
Friendly staff, good service, great views and central to everything in the CBD
We didn't get a King Bed like requested, and there is no TV in the bedroom, and no ensuite, but the bathroom on the otherside of the apartment. Not very practical.
Location price comfort
Spacious apartment, well furnished.Lovely view over the city. The staff were all helpful and friendly.
Only 30 min/day of free wifi. No instruction manuals for equipment.
Value, space, closed glass balcony with view
Mattress needs turning Power went off(again) Ironing board terrible No milk in fridge Only stay again if the price is right
The location is great. Our rooms were spacious and we had two toilets.
1. This hotel is old and poorly maintained. One of the lightbulb was not working. The door cannot be locked. The desk lamp and the patio table were broken. The staff was not polite and we were told that maintenance was not on duty during our stay. A few other things were missing from the kitchen. 2. Poor sound isolation. 3. On-site parking is available, but costs more than another Oaks we stayed in Melbourne, which doesn't make sense.
Would have been nice to have been informed about the fact that the pool was closed. I choose this specific location because it included a pool
No swimming pool available!
