Coinvenient location for Powerhouse Museum; Darling Harbour visitor attractions; Sydney Convention Centre. Very pleasant 20 metres length swimming pool open extended hours 06 00 hrs - 24 00 hrs, very convenient for guests. Reception staff friendly and helpful but at times visibly under pressure and over-worked. Rear-facing rooms on lower floors are very dark, gloomy and depressing ! Combination of outlook on to a blank brick wall of adjacent building allowing little natural daylight and low output light bulbs. No problems with rooms on floors 9 - 12 which are at a higher level than the adjacent building. For rooms on floors 3 - 8 I would recommend increase internal lighting to quality to "brighten up" the rooms both physically and psychologically. (I made this point to reception staff during my stay and, although heavily booked, they managed to change room to a better lit 9th. floor room) |

That it was so close to the Sydney Convention Centre. That there was good security and the price was reasonable. The covered walkway to the harbour was great. |

The room was spacious and the facilities excellent. Location near the convention centre and light rail was perfect for me. I was very surprised to be slugged a $200 deposit. This was not mentioned when I booked. The deposit is returned after you checkout, but it was not well communicated. The hotel is popular with families and the large open wooden floors can echo with the shouts and footsteps a bit - didn't bother me, but worth noting if you're sensitive to noise. |

The sensations package is just that, sensational value. The food choice and amount was exceptionally good, and the central location made for very easy entertainment. A 5 min walk to cirular quay, The Rocks, the Opera Hose or the Bridge!! Beds are really comfortable also! Unfortunately no spa or pool accessible. |

Great view from the Penthouse! Friendly helpful staff. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Would have liked a DVD player, a gate for the staircase to keep crawling baby safe, block out curtains in the bedrooms, curtain at the balcony for privacy, one of the showers had poor drainage and water went all over the bathroom floor, and there was no fan or windows in the bathrooms. Room P10. |

I could walk from the hotel right into Darling Harbour in five minutes. The young man acting as concierge was very helpful and personable. The high speed internet was very good. The lighting was inadequate. The elevators were very slow. |

Convenience to attractions at Darling Harbour & Chinatown. Good sized rooms, good value for short notice bookings. The $200 security deposit takes 7 days to clear from your credit card & is an unecessary burden on your credit balance which can increase the amount of interest you incur on your account. No instructions on parking until after check in. Difficult to access reception when checking in from Level 2 as signage is inadequate & confusing. Perhaps an attendant should be present on the Level 2 entrance corridor from 2pm onwards as guests are usually required to check in from this time. |

everything were fine, except the second day in the hotel, the clean man had not offer the bath towel.... it's not a big deal, however, when i call the reception, they ask me to grab the towel by myself. it's really ridiculous. |

The proximity to the city The open corridor arrangement made it very noisy and it resembled a prison. |

The room was very comfortable and it is well located right next to Darling Harbour which gives you a great range of restaurants and activities. The reception staff really let this hotel down. Had there been a warm welcoming reception it would be a fabulous place to stay. However the staff lacked any genuine customer service skills or desire to be welcoming and helpful. |

The view from our room was excellent. Great location with Darling Harbour and the monorail within 5 minutes walk. The room was in need of some repairs. Bath was cracked & leaking so there was water damage to adjacent walls & skirting boards. Sofa bed was grotty, broken & impossible to set up. When the hotel was asked to do something about it they said the room had no sofa bed? The one bedroom apartments are advertised with a sofa bed included. The hotel supplied us with a very uncomfortable trundle bed & tried to charge us an extra $30 per day for it! Also, the trundle bed smelt like an ashtray. The dining table was cracked. The spare blanket had cigarette burns & some awful stains. Crockery was dirty. In fact, the whole place seemed dirty. |

We picked it for the location , near darling harbour conv centre , we were attending a ball . Not suited as a business / overnight hotel It is the only hotel that requests a $200 bond ! what sort of people stay here ? Why ? When we checked out we had no reassurance that the bond had been returned .The recption was more like a backpackers |

What I liked was the room and the facilities. Yes, the personnel who attended the reception was not friendly , a Man with beard that seems that is the concierge was reluctant to help me to book the shuttle because usually the company where we bought the tickets (airport connect) according to him does not meet the Hotel expectations. Finally other lady at the reception helped us. At our arrival the man who allocated us the room made a mistake giving us the wrong room (for two people, without sofa) after that we to go to other room , this same man did not realize to change us the card to unlock acces through the elevator to the new foor where our apartment was allocated. My suggestion as that the people from the reception has to be trained according to the level of the Hotel |

I love the concept of the hotel and the location. The pool, spa, sauna and gym facilities were excellent. I thought the rooms were a bit shabby and there was not enough attention to detail in the cleaning. We had a studio apartment on the car park side and there was very little natural light and the room felt dark and dingy because of this. The sinks in the kitchen were all stained and the the grouting in the shower was brown. If the website had given a true overview of the rooms I might not have booked the hotel. I booked the hotel on the apartment showcased on the website was great but I did not get the same quality so I was very disappointed . |
