Apartment was a good design and if sharing with another couple the upstairs downstairs arrangement is ideal. Plenty of car parking and free

If going to sat at Nelson Bay would rather stay closer to sea.

Bed and bathroom

The Oakes rooms were a great design, great facilities for the family. Everything you need to use is all in your room. Awesome set up all through out. Would recommend to friends for these reasons.

Electrical appliances weren't working, had to call reception to get things repaired. The cleanliness/ lack of was very disappointing. Definitely a real let down:-( Would also tell friends that cleanliness of rooms was not that great.

Nice and quite. Good view. Staff members were friendly. Nice and clean.

Lovely open spacious bedroom and loving room, Kitchen was well equipped, and the internal staircase entry was a lovely feature. We did not want to leave

The bathroom was not stocked with toilet paper, we ended up needing to purchase some ourselves from the local coles,

Apartment spacious and king size bed great ,nice big balcony complex not too big ,short walk to marina and shops ,secure parking.

no kitchen paid for internet design of 2 storey not family friendly! lounge not comfortable at all no room service (cleaning)

The structure of the rooms was great! The kitchen was awesome!

Friendly staff, nice place,easy access,very relaxing. My husband rang to see what was the earliest time we could access our room and the staff were very pleasant and advised him our room was ready now if we would like to book in. We had a lovely time and would go back again.

I think you could have more tea/coffee in rooms, maybe jug of water in fridge would be nice?

Good Location, close to restaurants, bars. Room pretty silent, clean, nice staff.

Too much expensive for what it is. No free internet access, no kitchenettes, some of the lights were not working. No double bed (as requested) but two single bed joined together.

The view from our room was fantastic overlooking the water, within walking distance to shops and restaurants, spacious main bedroom, good sized bathrooms

Pillows were either too hard or too soft, only one pillow was medium firmness

the staff quickly changed our second room from a double bed to twin beds upon request, and the housekeeping was excellent.

Clean, friendly staff and the location is super convenience.

A little bit noisy depending on your neighbours (very narrow walls)

We were very pleasantly surprised by the level of space, comfort and luxury of Oaks Lure. For a few dollars more we booked a one bedroom apartment.It had all the comforts of home. I loved the modern urban furnishings and space!The bed was very comfortable, great shower and full kitchen!

The pillows were a bit lumpy.

A very good service appartment, location just fine, can walk to marina and some shop.

The carpet just damped, and there were no housekeeping with a high cost. And I really don't like the stairs.

Weather was a bit unpleasant ( hot sticky) very dead in terms of building activity

We paid $160 for one night in the hotel , To sleep on two single beds put together, Like honestly you think paying that kind of money you could atleast get a comfortable king or queen bed without falling down the middle half way through the night.

Not much. Parking problems, Small rooms, Pillows sucked. Staff should sleep in the room and find out what's wrong. Security with adjacent room access to my room.

Having to pay extra for TP, Tissues, Soap, extra towels and $30.00 more to have the beds made and maid service. Not acceptable to the traveler.
