Great location, close to most placeswe were going to. Will def stay again.

No pots and pans for cooking, as it was a self contained room though it would have these things otherwise great facility.

The layout of the room, the way that every inch was used. The check in check out staff were competent, professional and very pleasant as was the staff member operating the breakfast area.

The fact that the glass doors to the toilet and adjoining bathroom were not totally opaque. I found this to be a real minus

I like the location. Its very near to the Crown, u just walked around 10 mnts. And the hotel's location juat across the street with Intercotinental hotel.

The staff wasnt as friendly as i expect. Wifi is not free. My room that i chose has 2 bed rooms but the bathroom is connected with each other and it doesnt have any locked. And also for each room doesnt have any curtain to cover the inside room, so there's no privacy there.

We were given probably the worst possible room . It was in the middle of two rows of rooms thus no windows to the outside world. The only window in the room opened towards the hallway which is no good. I felt like the room was a bit like a prison cell.

A microwave oven in the room was out for repair and no replacement in . I was told at checking out that the oven will be replaced if required?

The room had no external windows and very poor lighting. Tiny bathroom with no shower curtain.

Melbourne

The room was decorated in a drab manner with dark bland walls and very poor lighting especially when trying to put on make-up. The bathroom was very small with a tiny basin which made it difficult to shave or rinse/spit when cleaning your teeth. The room was also very dusty when we initially checked in.

Location to city, shopping, Southbank and train and trams excellent.

Parking at an extra $20 is not too bad but is chaotic since it is double and triple parked with day parkers. Cannot leave the car once checked out at 10 am unless willing to pay an extra $32/h which basically means leaving the city. Staff less than welcoming and friendly. Not once did we get a smile of a courtesy comment such as: "Enjoy your day. Can we help you with anything. Do you need a cab? We hope you enjoyed your stay."

I paid extra for a balcony that was over the dumpster and very unpleasant.

Location was good.

Air-conditioner leaked and dripped, woke me up. Showers didn't have a shower curtain, everything got wet in rooms 1114 and 1115. The tv is too small, get a decent sized one please. Curtain around the bed was half missing in 1114. The rooms on the St.James lane side are too small, we stayed here a few years ago and got the room at the Collins St side which are much bigger so we expected a room of similar size but were disappointed with these room sizes.

I like the location very central to everything. The staff were very friendley & helpful. Great place would stay there again.

The room set up and views were perfect. Definitely the nicest hotel we have stayed in so far. Would stay again.

The Shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. No Room service menus or books regarding dinner locations, etc

A nice secure location in the heart of the city within easy reach of all the attractions. A good comfortable base from which to explore Melbourne.

reception off to the side (not obvious). Had a sprained ankle during visist to Melbourne - had to go up stairs to get to elevator.

The motel/hotel was ideall;y located and very neat and clean. Staff where excellent and helpful during our stay.

Room 1611 has no windows and u feel like your in jail. This room should be used as a utility room not a guests room.

Very convenient location in Melbourne. Room was very quiet as it was in the centre of the building, which was a little unusual, but had the added advantage of no street noise. Nicely appointed. Very comfortable bed.

Centrally located room with no outside windows was a little claustrophobic. Also the placing of en-suite, very close to the bed was unusal. No hairdryer - asked the room attendant to rectify this and nothing was done over a two day stay.

The views of the city. Staff were really friendly. Everything was clean. Easy access to the rest of the city. Nice and quiet.
