The room was large enough.

TV way to small - couldnt even see the picture. Carpet very dirty. Not enough crockery. No bedside lighting.

We enjoyed our time at Oak on Collins, it suited our needs as we essentially spent our time away from the hotel but found its locality good for the time we spent in Melbourne city as a comfortable place to return and sleep at the end of the day / evening.

Bedding was top quality lots of space in the room

There was only one window in my room and when you opened the curtain it was into the hallway.. Very disconcerting The room didnt have any body wash (only soap) Layout was odd.. couch facing a desk and the tv above the microwave with a small dining table oddly shoved in the corner..

Size of the room. Stove, fridge, dishwasher and microwave were excellent. Storage very good.

I didn't like not having a window that opened to the outside. Pillows either too small or two large. Normal size pillows would have been better.

Oaks on Collins is near the central business district and train station. The full kitchen is a plus, allowing relatively inexpensive breakfast and possibly lunch.

The ten o'clock checkout time is much too early. On my last day of business, I had a few hours, but ended up hanging out at the train station with my luggage, rather than seeing Melbourne. The internet pricing is predatory - 90 dollars for a week of internet is absurd, about 5 times what I pay for a month of service. Raise the price of the room a bit and cut the internet price. Your business customers will appreciate it. Overall, the management could change a few things (checkout time, internet), and remove the impression of predation and disinterest in providing a service.

Just the location and ease of the city locations

I do not like people misrepresenting things. Whwn I booked, I lookes at their web site and it showed the hotel in glowing terms, yet when we got to our room (617) it certainly did not meet the standard implied on the web site. The carpet was dirty, the floral lounge has seen better days and the general demeanour of the place was not good

Ideal facility & location for moving about the city.

There needs to be a compendium in the unit that shows the facilities available, vis: It was a couple of days before we realised that there was a cupboard behind the mirror where small items were stowed. , eg. another toilet roll & hair dryer. In relation to the TV, it would be convenient to have a TV card showing where to find the major free to air channels eg. Channels 2, 7, 9 & 10, as well as Sky & Fox. The TV reception was very low standard also.

Great location, and great value for money and very quiet and peaceful hotel to stay.

No refreshments in the bar fridge to purchase

Well designed rooms made good use of the space, the bed was roomy and very comfortable. Practical kitchen facilities, room was very quiet.

Windows were rather dirty.

The bathroom in the studio apartment was very small. The design of the bathroom was not user friendly.
