The location is superb! Very friendly & helpful staff. Facilities to store baggage is outstanding. The studio room doesn't not have cooking hood. Wi-Fi facilities expensive. Suggest to provide complimentary Wi-Fi access at reasonable rate / one hour duration for guest who checked in at Oaks on Lonsdale.

No traffic noise. Great bed sleep really well. Nice spacious apartment, Will book in again when we return to Melbourne The only thing we didn't like was the pillow were a little hard.

The location and cleanliness of the room were good I didn't like the staff, I thought all but one stuff Member were rude and very unhelpful. Probably the most arrogant receptionists I have ever had the misfortune of coming across. Also they didn't have our booking as you didn't confirm it after you told me you did, as I tried to cancel and wen I couldn't asked you to reconfirm the room which you did but didn't tell the hotel. As a result, you will not get my business either as that's unacceptable.

Dear Staff on Lonsdale, Des and I were very pleased with our accommodation at Oaks on Lonsdale, we loved the space the peace the cleanliness, and we just cannot praise our stay enough! We are senior citizens and could just afford to pay the extra dollars though we do realise you had reduced rates! Very much appreciated I have told all relatives and friends where to stay in Melbourne. We have a daughter living in Melbourne and her house is now too small for us to stay for long periods so we will probably come and stay with you again soon. We will be saving our dollars for another stay thank you so much Gerrie (Wife) & Des Husband.

On arrival at the hotel 5pm after a dreadful flight the desk clerk organised a room for us immediately which we both appreciated greatly! Thankyou! Our only issues were the cd player did not work so we could play all the awesome cds we purchased from Brunswick and the couches were quite uncomfortable.

Quick check in, quick check out - Although you must via credit card pay deposit of $150.00, NO facilities eg gym, pool etc, location excellent, clean, Studio apartment small but OK for two people, you only sleep and shower! Nice touch, assorted magazines in foyer free, few steps from China Town, shops but Melbourne is easy to walk anywhere.

Great value for money, room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Handy to all city attractions and shopping. Would definitely come back again. Tea and coffee provided was pretty awful, but a minor issue really.

The apartments are well situated and provide a clean and comfortable home-away-from-home. The staff are helpful and friendly. We had an apartment on the 24th floor which afforede us a lovely view over north Melbourne. We had no bedroom door until I enquired about it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for 8 days. The apartment was lovely & clean when we arrived & throughout the time we were there. Having little touches like a magazine to read every day was great. The reception staff were always polite & helpful when we had a query or a need. Not knowing Melbourne before we booked, the location of the motel was great. We loved walking to all the tourist spots & shopping. Great food places close by & having the trams close to the motel was great when the weather was a bit wet. We definatly would choose to stay at the Oaks when we are in Melbourne again.

Loved that the staff were really friendly and helpful. Went to cook breakfast on our first morning there and had no frying pan, rang reception and within 5 mins had a pan in the room. Great service. good distance to shops and train, buses and tram stops. Loved having a seperated bedroom and was great to chill on the lounge and watch a movie on one of the wet nights we had there. would recommend this place to all our family and friends.

The apartment looked exactly as in the featured photo'S. Loved the comfortable king bed! Heaven for our tired tourist bodies! Staff very helpful, hotel conveniently located to catch free tourist city bus and trams. Very close to beautiful parks. No washer/dryer as per description but we didn't need it, who wants to do washing on a weekend break anyway?

beds were really comfortable and location was great when cleaning staff make up room I don't think they should be using a dishwasher for 4 cups. Waste of water and power.

Reception staff were not professional n friendly either. I asked them 2 or 3 questions. All their answers were " I don't know." My inquiries were about local or airport shuttle and tours. It was quite embarrassing.
