Friendly staff,value for money money breakfast

The fact I was able to enter my room on arrival .. Regardless the normal time stated..

Would be nice to have body wash for shower& shower cap .. Rather then soap.

Excellent location - our first visit to Melbourne and we could walk everywhere! Staff were all exceptionally helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Not serviced daily - would have been nice to come back after a busy day shopping to a nicely made bed!

The sound of the air conditioner, I had to switch off as it was too loud. The apartment above me must have some sought of plumbing problem as I was kept awake overnight on both nights by it. The bath tub did not have a plug and was not able to bath when I wanted to. The restaurant was too loud, I ended up going elsewhere for dinner.

We were very pleased with our accommodation. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. The hotel was convenient to all the city attractions we were interested in and we were able to walk or utilise the nearby trams and trains as necessary. We have already recommended Oaks on Market to our friends and will stay there again.

The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. The view of South bank was wonderful.

The bathroom was off the lounge room which I don't like.

- there was no kettle in the room - there was no information booklet to explain about facilities, room service, meals, attractions, transport, etc.

- The indoor pool, spa, sauna and gymnasiaum - The fantastic system regarding parking - The conveniency of the location example, being near crown, southbank, eureka skydeck - The breakfast buffet was cost efficient and delicious - The studio apartment was really nice and convenient and the bed was extremely comfortable. - Bathroom was nice and big

- The heated pool and spa was not hot it was actually quite freezing - There is no smoking option - A little bit out of the CBD however close to southbank which made up for it - The dining room is a little small - The facilities being closed at 10pm is far too early

Great city location with access to transportation and sights. Modern and roomy apartment.

You have to pay for extremely slow Internet.

One of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in in a hotel

Staff were consistently pleasant and helpful. The location was ideal - we were in Melbourne to attend a wedding with service at St Paul's Cathedral and reception at Crown Casino. It was great to be able to cater for some meals ourselves.

There is no free wifi and the internet connection is very expensive.

Baby cot Was not in room despite Being told it Was and we arrived late at night. Cot came and Was broken and dirty so asked for it to be replaced. Had to ask twice for compendium of Info about hotel facilities

Spacious studio executive room. A blanket as an alternative to a duvet. Quite a good selection of moderately priced meals in the bar. Comfortable bed and pillows. Flannels were provided. Good central location. Friendly and helpful staff.

When people are sending reviews they should state what sort of a room they had been in, because we read some awful reviews about other Oaks accommodation and yet we couldn't fault ours apart from the shower over the bath and the bath was a bit hard to get out of. The duvet was too hot and air conditioning was noisy.

Everything, from the room, to the location, me and my partner had a fantastic stay

I chose this place for two reasons. First reason was cenerally located. 2nd choice it had an indoor swimming pool...I like to swim everyday. I found the two reason I chose it exceeded my expectations. Also for the price it was exceptional I think next time in town we will once again stay at the Oaks. The staff was so very friendly and helpful. The location from train station coming in from the airport was perfect. Free tramse to explore the city just a few steps away. Shoping and resteraunts just outside you door a few blocks away. Everything about our visit was perfect thanks to the great start at the Oaks loved it!

Not to easy to get a cab other than that all and all is a very good experience.

Room was very clean but the bathroom smelled like pee. Maybe some air freshener or something would help...

The room was very comfortable and was not too expensive. I had the studio room with the mini kitchen. We were also provided with a sofa bed that faced the tv so we could lie down while relaxing and watching some shows. The utensils provided wasn't complete but enough to make breakfast for two. The staff was also friendly and helpful. This is a very good hotel with good customer service and facilities.

The sofa bed could have a bed sheet. We covered it up with a blanket to use it.
