magnificent view and great pool. excellent location

A note was left in the room saying that we would be charged if any rubish wasn't in a tied up garbage bag at the door once checked out...what is house keeping for?

Location and proximity to restaurants and cafes. The apartment had a washer and dryer.

The decor was worn and there was paint peeling from parts of the apartment. We found some cockroaches in the room so maybe pest control might be necessary. Cost of the rooms would suggest a more modern and updated apartment. Neighboring apartments are cheaper and offer much the same.

1] Location was good 2] The 2 staff I dealt with, at book in and out, were very pleasant and accommodating.

The rest of the staff were very aloof and ignored you. That did not worry me but I feel if you want people to come back you need to try and make them feel a little special or at least welcome!!

We used the Oaks at the Entrance as a stopover on the way to Q'land and being at The Entrance it was well situated

I discovered, when checking in, that I had made two reservations with Oaks and Bookings.com.. I was going to ring Bookings on my return home to see if I could be refunded. The person at the desk used the Oaks reservation for us. I thought that in the interests of goodwill she would have used the Bookings reservation and we would have had a chance for a refund with Oaks. I know they were non refundable however Oaks did have a night's accom from us. I then received a phone a call a couple of days later and was told that my time to contact Bookings had run out; I was not told there was a time limit. I find this a very non-friendly way to look after a client who has made a silly mistake in doing two bookings and will not be making bookings with Oaks. We are retired and travelling a great deal and wish to travel with businesses that are more understanding and supportive. In these circumstances goodwill could have prevailed.

The staff were polite and obliging and nothing too much trouble

The car park access to the main building was a little confusing but I am aware there are few alternatives

Good location, central to pretty much everything. The room was great, maybe a little over priced but would definately stay here again for $144 which we payed on sale.

Shower was very small and not very good design.

Great location on the waterfront and close to all shops and restaurants.

Probably a little too big and impersonal for me - and I didnt like the pool location being on the 2nd floor - but they cant move it. Probably more lounge chairs are needed for the number of guests. I like privacy however my balcony overlooks all balconies of the Waldorf as well as you can see people in the rooms next door- no privacy at all. Only one luggage trolley - again would be good to have more given the number of guests.

I liked the where it is situated , near the attractions

I didnt like the room I felt I was in prison. When I payed for my room I asked them tk have a room with a view but they told me when I come they allocate the room. On the day of my arrival they gave me rokm 120 that was like a prison

We liked the location, the amaizing views the pool. over all enjoyed our stay except for your bed.

The only reason I ticked fair on comfort was from your bedding. Unfortunately myself and my wife found ourselves with quite sore backs after waking up from a nights sleep in your double bed. We then tried a night on the sofa bed and was worse.

Building dated and looking very poor from balcony, air conditioner was a rusty shell, however recognise repair seemed underway and it was good value - happy to stay again!

The lovely receptionist named Elysse was absolutely delightful. Very professional and caring. She has the art of listening not just hearing. An asset to the business.

We didn't get the view we ask for a lake side room .What we got was a view off garage bins and carpark

The swimming pool and spa I loved the warm water that you can go in at any time it is very comfortable :)

Hi I didn't like the fact that I booked 4 studios to enjoy the weekend with my friends and when we got there only 3 studios were available which was a disappointment for the 4th couple. At first they wanted to say that I only booked 3 but I had the email with me showing a booking for 4 studios that I showed the receptionist. After 3 hours of I don't know what the forth couple had to search for an accommodation for the weekend at night. I was very upset because it was valentine and our anniversary witch we planned for weeks with our friends. I am not sure if I can recommend your resort for any of my friends (just to answer number 5)

Location couldn't have been better. The receptionist was efficient and very pleasant. Facility had everything we needed.

It was very comfortable and practical, for relaxing with a great option of the pool and spa that my wife and I enjoyed ....

disapionted with the rooms veiw , thought we where getting a room with a veiw to the oceans but found out on our arrival the it wasn't so ....

Lovely views across the lake from the room, very well presented room with great furnishings/appliances included, very comfy bed!!

The tv remote did not work, so had to use manual buttons on tv, the air con unit was great, but in a position so you couldn't adjust temp/turn off from the bed which was a little annoying in the middle of the night, but not a dealbreaker
