People on deck loud.washrooms a mess.rooms not clean while I was there for five days.just a bad stay.
Location to exciting St.Kilda shopping.
Room standard and balcony not satisfactory condition.
The location was good. I was staying in a single room and I my room was Ok. The staff was helpfull when they were around. No disturbance.
The hotel looked like a honted house. Initially was a bit scary but got used to it. The kitchen was dirty and was not convenient.
Clean rooms, clean showers, clean toilet. Plenty hot water and good pressure. Friendly staff. Would book again
Was cold in the rooms. Not enough plankets
It was close to the resturants and bars
I asked the guy behind the counter were to park, he said the road bang outside until 10am i asked him twice if he was sure he said yes, i then woke up to a $150 fine!! Also he told me the complete wrong way to my room so i was walking around a while looking for it.
Very close to cafés , shopping, public transport, trams busses
Very friendly and supportive staff Very quite room good sleep A heater in the room Excellent location
The reception staff was often not there unavailable so when you needed to ask something you had to wait for them to return sometimes long - I believe they should work our the system for guests to contact staff somehow
Personal staff ensured your comfort with an offer of more rugs, fire in the lounge area, quiet room upstairs.
Stairs would be a worry if you had trouble climbing.
Staff is really nice, my plane had 2 hour delay so I arrived at 10 pm but this nice staff waited me and knowing I will go to Great Ocean road early in the morning he exempted my key deposit so that I don't have to wait till the business hour (10 am) and given me bath towel free of charge (yes it normally costs money in this hotel)
I experienced the socialism era of china and lived in my relatives' house in courtryside of China for a few times so If I have no choice then I can stay in this hotel for 1 night , but no more.on my night of arrival I my plane had delay so when I arrived it was already 10 pm , I paid the money but the moment my wife entered the room she started crying (yes, that's how bad it is), I liked the opinion given by other guests that the furniture of this hotel shouldn't have survived the wwii. And this hotel don't have a free parking, so it is time limited street parking only, Continueing on my story , After saw my wife crying I decide to go, the I found an other decent hotel locate only few blocks away cost only 20 bucks more, I 'll say I should have to book that hotel at the first place. Overall , don't even think about booking here , it Will ruin your holiday even you are travelling on budget, unless you are from really third world country , to be honest, if you can put up with this hotel, why don't you just sleep in the airport? Airport is cleaner and more comfortable I think!給- 看懂中文的人的忠告，如果你能受得了中國幾十塊錢的小旅館，那你應該受得了這裡，如果你和我一樣，旅行還要- 有起碼的尊嚴，就千萬別選這裡。信不信由你。
Price for a single room, staff Adrian was great, location in St Kilda.
Bed was squeaky, I put the mattress on the floor.
Quaint and old-fashioned accommodation in the heart of St.Kilda. Bring your own toiletries and towel and your old fashioned values; you'll do fine. The motel has a Direct-to-Tullamarine bus service for $17aus.
If you don't like stairs, it's best to book a ground level room.
Budget single & double rooms are the best value in central Melbourne. Helpful staff and adequate facilities.
Choice of eating places ate abundant around this location
Request a ground floor room if you don't care for stairs
The room was too cold with just a little heater unable to make any difference...
Close to venues
No hot water Very cold even with a heater.
The staff were friendly and accommodating when I asked for extra pillows blankets and towels
You could feel the springs in parts of the bed and you get one pillow and two thin blankets, had to ask for more
Cheap , great location.
Hot water not hot. Room had musty smell.
close to the tram station, not really problems with anything. sure it is not luxury but I didnt pay for that either.
No hot water
You get what you pay for. It was not as bad as I'd expected. It's simply a basic backpackers. You get everything you need but nothing fancy.
Easy access no curfews central location in st kilda
Not a hotel or hostel as such more a place for longterm backpackers with jobs to live kitchen facilities are poor much better backpackers places in st kilda
Comfortable and clean. Worth for money !
I didn't like having to wait till 10am till we could check out to get our key deposit back. And our double bed was very uncomfortable the mattress was not supportive enough we both roled into each other.
I liked the large resting area near the office with a big TV. I liked the good cost-effective price of the room. I liked the cheerful hotel manager who was very helpful during our stay. Close proximity to tram line into town.
The gas stove needs upgrading, fixing or cleaning. No cups were available. Very limited hot water in the showers. Needed a hotel bar - somewhere to purchase alcoholic drinks. Needed cheaper internet / WiFi rates - slightly expensive.
