great location, very friendly and helpful staff. Dormitory was huge therefore loads of space for luggage.
Poor wifi. Bed sheets are kept in small lockers (bit dusty) and didn't seem that the duvet cover was changed since the last person used it. The room was a bit cold.
Bad internet connection
Location was great, 2 minute walk to the shops.
Booked a 16 bed room - got an 18 bed room. The room stank too. There was rubbish everywhere, beer bottles etc. The bed frame looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in months from the amount of dust. The floor was covered in dust, bits of food and just random bits. The bed was the worst bed i've ever encountered, I think the floor would of been comfier with the dust layer. The pillow, duvet and mattress were stained yellow. Disgusting. The kitchen didn't seem that clean. The toilets had a lack of soap. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.
have stayed here a couple of times for party weekends, pretty great place to stay with idea location. fabulous bathrooms! some other guests were a bit rude though, I'd advise staying in a room on your own.
mattresses are very hard, wifi doesn't work and weird smells.
The staff was very helpful and friendly and did their best to help you. The location cannot get any better with walking distance to major streets and facilities, and only 10 minutes away from the fantastic Central Market. There was free breakfast too and nice common room area.
The toilets were a bit dirty, but not that much that I would not consider staying here again. Could be more social events perhaps?
The room was quiet. Igot two lockers as well.
The lockers were not big enough for the large types of bags that a lot of travellers carry.
Located in the heart of the city
Elevator on the verge of breakdown, no Wi-Fi, average cleanliness, people screaming in the middle of the night outside
great location for tour company to pick up and drop you off
the people, the staff, thei're all very very cool!!! If you have any problems just tell them, they care and help if possible!
Temperature too cold Beds were too stiff (plywood) Awkward environment
Took the J1/2 bus from the airport and the hostel is just 3 minutes away after getting off the bus! (Last stop on the curries street)
Great location. In the heart of the city.
Good location and facilities
Fairly good location and good facilities. Not bad for a one night stopover.
Beds were very hard to sleep on.
Location, friendly staff, big kitchen
not very clean, cold rooms (A/C)
The location and the price.
The room are dirty, roommates create such a mess with their luggage. One night The air conditioning was broken and it was impossible to sleep. The bed is very hart to sleep on, as wood. I know I couldn't have more for such a price.
It basically had all that l needed for my stay. In an 8 bed dorm but never more than 4 of us in it. Lots of sockets for chargers etc. My bedding and the cutlery/crockery pack was fine. Richard a staff member was very friendly and helpful. Could not be in a better location for seeing Adelaide and getting about. I would stay there again.
There were what seemed to be lots of long term stayers that were working in the area which l found off putting due to their attitude. Also they were bad at washing up their dirty things. There are no outside areas so all the smokers congregated at the front door which gave very poor first impression with bodies jamming the doorway and ciggy butts everywhere. WIFI available but l found it unreliable most of the time. In the kitchen the knives were very blunt and made some meal preperations difficult.
In the city center, really close from public transports. Free breakfast included.
Bedroom & bathroom a bit dirty, too small for 10 people. I wouldn't recommanded it for a long stay, only "good" for 1 or 2 nights.
Staff were mostly really lovely and supportive. Very accommodating. Communal areas were nice and the free wifi, whilst a bit dodgy, was a nice plus. And free toast was choice too.
Sheets were a bit semen stained and the crockery I was given was dirty. The beds were a little hard too but for the price paid, totally fine.
