The location, the views and the wonderful Delux room we booked on the top floor facing ne We arrived at 10.30 am.The non smoking room was foul smelling of cigarettes. The staff asked us to stay out for an hour or so in order for them to get rid of the smell. We stayed out of the room for 3 hours. Nothing had been done on our return so we then had to stay out for another hour so we did for another 2 hours. Given we had booked the suite to rest up and relax after travelling in fnq for a week, I can tell you we were far from impressed with your staff.

The rooms were really spacious, very clean and newly renovated. We didn't think the staff were friendly or welcoming, they seemed bored, and when we asked for an umbrella they were unhelpful.

The location was superb for my needs (I was booked on a dive trip departing from Cairns Marina right opposite) and the price was very reasonable. The staff were friendly; The front office manager John was excellent - really helpful and very professional as I had to alter my booking mid stay and he organised it without any fuss at all. The room service food menu was very limited - I have special dietary requirements and wanted to eat in my room; it wasn't easy with the limited choices available!

The hotel staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them to assist you in any way possible, The tour desk staff were very infornative as to what tour would be excellent value and worth visiting.I Would certainly recommend this hotel to any person who wishes to visit Cairns, also the hotel is very central to the Marina, shops, restaurants and transport.

The Pacific International Hotel, Cairns is located within a 5 minute walk of the Marina, shops, restraunts, esplanade, Casino, and had the most breathtaking views of Cairns, from our room. Add a full buffet breakfast in its beautiful restraunt and I will definately be back there soon.

The food in the hotel restaurant was exceptional I had the brazilian bbq where various types of meat was carved at your table and straight onto your plate I would recommend this hotel for business or pleasure and will stay again on my next business trip in sept

I could not believe the T.v was not digital and flat screen, but a very old anolgue tv with no set top box, and to watch a movie the cost was an outrages $19.00. Especially in the an executive suite which we up graded too, what are the standard suites like.Most hotels I stay at have pay tv standard. On that alone I could not recomend this hotel. Also the buffet breakfast was cooked to a high standard the menu was the same each day, there should be some variety in egg salection not just scrabbled egg.

Absolut perfekte Lage, guter und kostenloser Parkplatz direkt auf dem Hotelgelände, komfortable Zimmer, die aber relativ klein bemessen waren. Schöner Blick auf Hafen und Meer von den oberen Etagen aus. Freundliches Personal. Der Balkon war deutlich zu klein und ist für Personen mit Höhenangst nicht geeignet. Die Temperatur der Dusche war sehr schwierig einzustellen. Das Frühstück im Hotel konnte, besonders angesichts des sehr hohen Preises, nicht überzeugen, obwohl wir einen 10 $ Gutschein erhalten haben, der den Frühstückspreis auf immer noch 19$ reduzierte. Allerdings gibt es 2 Minuten weiter viele Alternativen.
