The location, the views and the wonderful Delux room we booked on the top floor facing ne We arrived at 10.30 am.The non smoking room was foul smelling of cigarettes. The staff asked us to stay out for an hour or so in order for them to get rid of the smell. We stayed out of the room for 3 hours. Nothing had been done on our return so we then had to stay out for another hour so we did for another 2 hours. Given we had booked the suite to rest up and relax after travelling in fnq for a week, I can tell you we were far from impressed with your staff.

I could not believe the T.v was not digital and flat screen, but a very old anolgue tv with no set top box, and to watch a movie the cost was an outrages $19.00. Especially in the an executive suite which we up graded too, what are the standard suites like.Most hotels I stay at have pay tv standard. On that alone I could not recomend this hotel. Also the buffet breakfast was cooked to a high standard the menu was the same each day, there should be some variety in egg salection not just scrabbled egg.

Great location, can watch the NYE Firework, fantasitic view. The stuff is really rude in context of hotel stuff not even mentioned 4 star, the assistant manager even said 'I don't want make it difficultful for you...', 'I can't guarentee your happiness'. Horrible attitude.

The hotel staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them to assist you in any way possible, The tour desk staff were very infornative as to what tour would be excellent value and worth visiting.I Would certainly recommend this hotel to any person who wishes to visit Cairns, also the hotel is very central to the Marina, shops, restaurants and transport.

The Pacific International Hotel, Cairns is located within a 5 minute walk of the Marina, shops, restraunts, esplanade, Casino, and had the most breathtaking views of Cairns, from our room. Add a full buffet breakfast in its beautiful restraunt and I will definately be back there soon.

The food in the hotel restaurant was exceptional I had the brazilian bbq where various types of meat was carved at your table and straight onto your plate I would recommend this hotel for business or pleasure and will stay again on my next business trip in sept

The staff were very helpful and changed our room to one with a bathroom for the disabled so my wife who uses a cane could have a walk-in shower. The evening meal in the restaurant was exceptional. No mini bar in room.

A lovely hotel, ideally situated close to the sea front, harbour/wharf,shops, bars and restaurants. Very clean and comfortable with friendly, professional staff who offer excellent customer service. Would recommend to others wishing to stay in Cairns. Excellent food both in-room service and the hotel restaurant.

location Very hard to find parking. Hotel car park only has space for about 20 cars and most of them are taken by staff members. No room service food after 9.30 PM ! Decor is old and shabby. We were on the 10 floor and the noise of the traffic kept us awake! TV channels very limited and tv it's self was very small! No information given on check in on hotel facilities. I won't stay here again nor recommend it to anyone!
