La Grande Barriera Corallina - prendere una crociera di un giorno ad una delle isole, navigando comodamente su un vascello di lusso, oppure, per chi ama le emozioni forti, fare snorkeling o immersioni nella Grande Barriera Corallina. Altrimenti, si può anche ammirare da un elicottero questa famosa meraviglia della natura.
Foresta Pluviale Patrimonio dell'Umanità - il Kuranda Skyrail e la Scenic Rail sono due modi spettacolari di vedere il nord tropicale di Queensland. Scivolare sopra la foresta pluviale e bordo dello Skyrail, la teleferica con gongole più lunga al mondo. Durante il ritorno verso Cairns si può salire sul Kuranda Scenic Rail; il modo ideale per vedere luoghi splendidi e stare all'aria aperta mentre si torna a casa attraversando le montagne.
Ci sono anche molti parchi con sentieri su Atherton Tablelands, Mossman Gorge and Cape Tribulation. Si possono fare escursioni di un giorno a Cape Tribulation e la foresta pluviale di Daintree, prenotabili al reparto escursioni dell'hotel senza costi aggiuntivi.
Le attrazioni locali non finiscono qui. Fate una passeggiata rilassante lungo la Esplanade di Cairns, lunga 2,5 km, o visitate uno dei mercati locali. I mercati sono un ottimo luogo dove trovare oggetti interessanti di produzione locale. La varietà dei prodotti è grande e va dai gioielli e la ceramica, a tutti i tipi di arte, abiti, cibo casalingo e prodotti australiani unici.

posizione ottima dell'hotel al centro della città non solo internet non è gratuito ma è caro e viene tariffato in maniera assurda. Anche per avere l'adattatore di corrente, che in altri Hotel era ad uso gratuito, qui è necessario pagare più di 5 dollari per poterlo usare. Tutto questo è assurdo per un hotel di questa categoria |

The fact we were given the Presidential Suite at no extra cost made our holiday just perfect. Just one problem, even being on the 11th floor the noise from the street at 5am onwards was a bit annoying. |

The fire alarm went off just before 5am and woke alot of people up - yet noone was told through a phone call or pa system that everything was okay, as we were situated on the 11th floor it was quite daunting. We asked about it at checkout and were told that they thought a guest had put something too close to a lamp. It had made it very hard to than relax, let alone get back to sleep just waiting for some reassurrance that there was no fire. I think just to announce that it was a false alarm would have been or should have been done. |

We had the Lee Marvin Suite which was very spacious and had a huge balcony facing the Marina. The bar and restaurant were very busy and fun. On our last night a member of the public (a mature, local Australian) was playing the piano in the bar, much to our delight and to the delight of all the other guests, many of whom sent him drinks or approached him to thank him for the entertainment. He was an accomplished pianist. At some stage a member of the management or ownership gavee instructions that he was to stop playing, which put a damper on all of our spirits. |

Though it is an older hotel, it has all the necessities, is clean, well located for business and cheaper than the newer hotels in the city centre. Service was good. |

The Staff were very helpful. I had a trailer and a car and I was concerned about the security of the tralier. We also had expensive bikes that we stored in the building. The hotel was presented very well and great value for money. Many thanks to Staff |

Excellent location. Very nice hotel. Lovely brazilian music playing in the lifts and corridors - a brazilian style barbecue restaurant, brazilians feel at home! The swimming pool might be warm, though the city is very tropical! The staff in restaurant for breakfast is not sufficient - the same girls had to welcome the guests, serve coffee and clean the tables - only 2 for all this. |
