The fact that as soon as we walked into the room we were greeted with a fresh clean smell and the whole room was clean. This seems to be a rare thing these days because cleaning products are not used in every place that we have been to, some just use water and one cloth for everything.

The size of my apartment was excellent, spacious and well set out. The quality of the room service dinner from Table 51 was outstanding. The Reception Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Everything about the stay was great except the aircon position in the studio appartment I stayed in. The aircon in the studio appartment wasn't working very good at all when I stayed there. It is in a really bad position in the room. You really should look into moving it so the people that stay there actually get to sleep in cool air. It is just positioned in a really bad spot.

Everything - the location, the friendly staff, the clean rooms, the security, the pools and BBQ. Wish list = to be able to watch my own movie on DVD or flash drive through the tv. The shampoo and conditioner are very drying.

It was roomy clean and staff were friendly After travelling 8hrs in car with family , very disappointed to find the lounge room only had a small 2 seater cane lounge to sit on, If we knew this was the situation l wouldnt booked the family unit, The other matter that was very annoying was having 2 air conditioners on balcony directly blowing hot air onto you, To sum it up l would not stay at this hotel again,Theres alot more value and comfort at other hotels , After travellling from Cairns to Melbourne and returning back to Cairns

We found the facilities excellent and well maintained. The staff were helpful and friendly. The pool area was well shaded, allowing use at any time during the day.

Very spacious apartment and a great location - very quiet. Everything was within walking distance, with the Strand only a short car drive away. The staff were very friendly, from the Receptionist to the Cleaners. Secure off-road parking. Will definitely stay here again. The bathroom/shower recess could probably do with an update and maybe a rug in the lounge area to make it a bit more 'homey'.

Our two bedroom apartment was very spacious. We had a balcony which was requested as we took our Weber to cook our Christmas feast. The Park Regis was close enough to be able to walk to shops, pubs and The Strand. Staff were very courteous and helpful.

The hotel staff from the reception to the caretaker were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was a problem and service was always with a smile. Five Star resort service from the young lady at reception. The Swimming Pools. The front swimming pool was very tiny, however the back swimming pool was in desperate need of cleaning. The water was murky and on the third day did not feel comfortable swimming in it.

The location; the relaxing view from the room and the proximity to restaurants and shopping. The strong smell of chlorine or bleach in the room from the bathroom having just been cleaned. It was very unpleasant. I couldn't enjoy the balcony as much as I would have liked because of the sound and heat from the airconditioning unit on the verandah, which was operating for the next room. I could also hear the tv from the next room.
