Score from 822 reviews Very good
Ideally located in the central business district of Cairns, Queensland, this dream destination is situated just off the Esplanade, only a short stroll from the main Cairns shopping precinct.
Score from 64 reviews Very good
the comfort and quietness in the apartment. The tv and radio and small usb player is good to know it is there. Friendly staff especially Lisa' She has very good PR skills. The others are too concern with their work.
the corridor which is a bit stuffy as their are no ventilation. The swimming pool area as the edge is a little too short in height-not good for young children or teens as they can jump off the edge. There is no clothes hanger the dry off the clothes when you do the washing
Pretty good value for the location
A bit impersonal, the room was OK but nothing special
Only one bedside table. The bathroom toiletries were not topped up,
Fire alarms going off without prior warning.
Looked out at walls
I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and it is always clean, neat and modern. The location is good and it's a quick walk to everything.
great hotel, good value and great location with lovely rooms and friendly and helpful staff. Will stay there again.
stereos in rooms bit outdated and didn't work properly only a few functions worked.Couldnt read the buttons on tv remote.Very trivial though detail is important.Staff seemed overworked, obviously top management only cares about the bottom line.
The worst bed we have ever slept on, rock hard.
That when we were checking in the lady said we had two rooms although after making it very clear we only had one room, the day after checking out we recieved a cancellation fee for 2 rooms even though we stayed in one room and we did not have 2 rooms
Staff we're friendly, room was standard but had a decent sized balcony with good views.
For a superior room, it felt and looked a bit standard. Couches we're run down and bed was slightly uncomfortable.
Very friendly staff at front desk. Great city location and room was of very good size. Room was very peaceful.
Our kitchen did not have a sink, very frustrating. Our cleaner left our door unlocked after cleaning. Overall was very happy with Park Regis.
Great staff so flexible and helpfull
Location was good and room was spacious. Had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
The sofa and chairs in the room were a bit dirty and there was a big brown stain on the curtain in the sitting area. The walls and some of the doors also had marks on them that were quite noticeable. The bathroom dispensers of bath and body products were a good idea but the body lotion dispenser wouldn't work even though there was product in there. Also the shampoo would not lather and when I finally had enough on my hair to clean it rinsed off into a mass of knots. The conditioner was completely inadequate in getting rid of the knots. I gave up and bought some products.
Ideal location for anyone attending a conference or event at the Cairns Convention Centre, which is just a 5 min walk away. The location is also pretty decent for walking access to the rest of Cairns city - the shops, shopping mall, and eating places. The hotel suite was very, very spacious, and the double bed comfortable.
I think housekeeping missed out my room on some of the days of my stay.
Bed was hard small room smelt like smoke
- customer service
- pillows - parking
THAT IT HAD A CAR PARK
THAT IT WAS NOT A TWO BED APPT AS I BOOKED, BUT A 1 BED WITH A ROOM NEXT TO IT - NOT IDEAL
good walking distance to cairns central area
Hardest bed we have ever slept on, being 2 single beds pushed together with an padded overlay, this is not a k sized bed. Dodgy air con that failed with water coming out of 1 unit, ac compressor situated outside bedroom window, could not use at night as the unit was extremely loud. for the 11 night stay, the floors WHERE not cleaned,ie , had to ask for broom to do it my self. cracks in plaster in walls and general scuff marks and chip mark on walls, range hood had been cleaned for along time, actually dripping grease and oil. NOT worth the 2 k fee for 11 nights
all staff especially lisa and chloe top location and very quiet
pool was very ordinary very dark in the shower
the décor was modern and the rooms were very clean. We were in walking distance of the function we attended on the night, so no need to catch a taxi.
The room was at the back on the second floor so we had no view which was a shame. We could here the people upstairs walking around and making a noise.
the staff were professional and the rooms were very clean. It was close to the Esplanade and far enough that there was no traffic noise.
we were visiting with a group of 4 friends I had booked a two bedroom unit so that we could all be together but as it turned out it was a one bedroom apartment and a one bedroom studio room separated by two doors so it made it hard to just hang out in the unit together. The one bedroom studio room had only a little baloney that over looked the roof of the next door shops. There was a lot of banging also from the next door business in the early morning.
room layout modern great location comfortable beds friendly staff clean
The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful in assisting to organise different tours and experiences. Beds were nice and comfy.
The pool was a little cold. Having the AFL footy channel would have been nice.
not able to get in and out of the carpark a night, found out next morning I wasn't given a card for the carpark rolla door, when I came back from picking up from a airport, we had to park on the road
Great location and the office lady Andrea was awesome!
