Little run down & walls marked & dirty in the room & bathroom.
Great location, close to tram stops
We enjoyed the service the hotel itself and the room was beautiful.
The only thing I didn't really like was the fact that the restaurant/bar was closed on NYE..that was ashame.
The location. Nothing more.
Apartment had a very bad smell walking in, it was filthy. Black finger prints all over toilet, shower, walls and doors. "Queen bed" was two single beds pushed together. Drinking glasses had lip stick stains, couches were torn and room looked nothing like the advertisement. Plus the lift kept getting stuck for at least 5 minutes each time we used it.
Very large rooms, but sparsely furnished. Great location in St. Kilda - next to the lovely Albert Park Lake and near the ocean. Easy tram ride to the city - 15 minutes from the nearby stop with trams every few minutes. Good kitchen and housekeeping. Travel tip: go see the small group of penguins at the St. Kilda pier rather than take the long trip to touristy Phillip Island. 5 to 10 come out at dusk and are only a few yards away.
Stale smell to the unit that we couldn't get rid of by opening the window. No free WiFi! Windows were very dirty on the outside. No chest of drawers provided in the bedroom (their standard policy) - shouldn't have to live from suitcases when staying for over a week. Charged an extra 1-1/2 per cent for paying with a credit card. Would have been nice to have a washer and dryer in the "suite".
Would like to see Free Wifi included.
Good customer service, Clean comfortable rooms, relaxing environment, close to The Alfred hospital for visiting, tram nearby for access to city
Guests in room next door got drunk one night and were being loud - they quietened down so I assume they were asked by staff to do so.
Poor laundry facilities as the dryer not working properly. The reception has no change for laundry. There is few guests staying there hencen, minimal staff working and we feel not safe and secure should there be any unforeen circumstances. We need to pay for parking but the parking lots are limited and parking space is very tight.
Comfy room for couple nights.
Bathroom needs refurbishing.
Great customer service.
The furniture and decor is a bit outdated.
Staff especially Mr giresh went out of his way to help us out. He was so helpful that he even offered his own dinner out of courtesy !
Rooms were a bit dated but nice...location was a bit away from downtown. The hotel shop sold no water.
The location was handy to the CBD
The room had a funny almost stale cigarette smell to it
Spacious apartment, spacious bathroom with separate shower and laundry facilities
Apartment was on 2nd floor facing St Kilda Rd. Was a bit noisy with the trucks next door. Wasn't aware there is no smoking on the balcony and wasn't informed by staff at check in.
Staff were friendly, Car Parking very reasonable and secure Facilities were good for the star rating, Room servicing daily Foxtel TV
Paying for Wi-Fi when staying for more than one night when studies or business has to be completed and you are out of the unit for a majority of the time Not your fault with state of hotplates and dishwasher when some clients don't respect facilities. Shower screen missing from the first bathroom. I didn't want to use other bathroom and make extra work as the situation of no power in first room provided me with a fantastic alternative
Loved the room
Everything! We were over there for the Les Miserables stage show. The hotel was close to Her Majesty's theatre and Bourke street and going the other way was a short drive to St Kilda beach. Perfect!
We had to come home! Should have stayed for a week!
24 hour reception, allowed early check-in and was a spacious room. Great price for a one bedroom apartment in a quiet location.
Walls were extremely thin (could hear vomiting from the next room). Some staff at reception were lovely but one or two acted as though they did not want to be there and we felt like a burden.
Close to city and tram.
The suite was quite dirty. Was not happy with this. The restaurant was closed most of the time. My elderly mother had to wait to be let into our room, but a female staff member let a man in early because he spent a great deal of time chatting her up. I was not impressed.
On both nights (midnight the first night & 1 a.m. the second night the guests in the room next to us were yelling out and generally being noisy which disturbed our sleep it appeared to be a number of younger girls
Location suited our needs very well.
Rooms were not very private, with noise from other rooms and the corridor very obvious and loud.
Staff friendly. Easy to get locate and get into. Helpful to book taxis for us.
Restaurant didn't open early enough for breakfast and didn't open at all for dinner. No direction of how close dining options were or any other facilities. Room missing hooks in bathroom etc repairs to wall needed. Room key card malfunctioned .
Room was comfortable
Car park was hard to get in and out, not enough spaces. Lifts were annoying as the cards didn't always work. No restaurant which was hard when spent all day at hospital and couldn't get dinner when back at hotel
All staff very friendly polite and helpful at all times.
Not being able to have restaurant meal at the motel for tea rather than eat in room or have to go out. Especially when tired from 8 hours in confrence.
paying for wifi
Receptionists very helpfull
Problems with the lift
