Quality Hotel Parklake Shepparton is in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, only a 2 hour drive north of Melbourne. The hotel features 2 swimming pools, a courtyard hot tub and a game room. Each room features reverse-cycle air conditioning, hairdryer, and 42-inch TV with free cable and digital channels. Direct dial telephones with voice mail and modem ports are provided. Function facilities are available, along with a heated indoor pool. Parklake Bar & Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Although I had paid on line when booking had to provide credit card again when booking in? No tea, coffee, cup or glasses in room. Yes, I could have spoken to the office I was advised but arrived home late and should I really have to contact management to see the room is not properly provided. Very poor management to my mind. Considering the worn carpets of grubby appearance the price is expensive especially when no breakfast is provided. More blankets should also have been available as I was cold at night and had to find the 1 extra blanket provided although there was sleeping accom. For 3 in the room. Not at all happy at the end of stay especially as the office offered late checkout but was awaken by the maid knocking on the door at 9.10am and then again at 10.15 am to check the bar fridge. For goodness sake get your act together. Look at what others are providing and charging and you'll see where you are well behind in quality, service and customer care. Pathetic! Wish I'd found elsewhere and will never stay again.

Spacious room and kept very clean. Comfortable bed The parking outside our room was taken every night by the time we arrived back at the motel so had to either park in the middle or in front of another room over the other side which made us a little uncomfortable.

Good location, generally friendly staff. Shower was unclean, hair all over the place, room service compendium appeared to be out of date, cost of menu items on charge note was greater than that stated in room menu. Always hate 1% surcharge for credit cards when they know that's how everyone will pay, tacky. Not a great experience, won't be back and neither will anyone else from my employer, when I advise.
