We stayed overnight from Canberra to attend a concert at the Sydney Entertainment Centre. Location close to Sydney Entertainment Centre and Paddy's markets. Also close to Central Station and Dickson St. Modern decor and competitive room price. Very helpful staff. Good tv location in room and modern 32" flat panel receiver. Nice firm beds. Clean crisp linen. Despite double glazing on window, still quite noisy from George Street traffic, police/ambulance sirens and general street activity. Tiny lift, but understandable given the age of the building.

good location, nice staff, near china town, good price,555 free bus shuttle in front of hotle. Old TV equipment, Friday night is very noisy,Room sound insulation is not good, make wrong price in check out.

Friendly staff - room was as it said it was on website - small, great location. The water pressure in the shower was poor and it was difficult to get it adjusted so that the shower was a suitable temperature with good pressure.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and beds are comfy! Beautiful big shower head! It's in a great location - mid-way between Central and QVB. We'd definitely stay there again. The noise (bass) of the music from the pub next door at night was tiring but bearable. We did have the room closest to the pub, so I'm sure other rooms would have less noise.

The staff were fantastic and helpful, and found us a restaurant nearby that catered for Vegans and Vegetarians. The location was excellent, the room clean and comfortable, the shower was awesome. The only thing I would have liked was for the air conditioning to go a bit lower than 22 degrees - it was very close in the room.

I liked the location and the very reasonable price and very friendly staff. Room lighting very good and bed comfortable. Request room on quiet side of hotel or noise from Sussex street could affect sleep.. Noisy fridge and air conditioner in room turned conditioner off then back on now and then for a minute or so to quickly cool room. Shuttle pick up from Sussex st though arcade not George street not easy if you have alot of luggage means hauling it round! ..Recommnded to those that want a reasonably priced very central hotel. Hotel not easy to see from street.

Only location is good They put us in the the room for disabled people without any notice. Check in time is 15-00 - why not 21-00? At night (2am) they evacuated evryone from the hotel without any truly explanation in the morning. They just told: "It just happens sometimes".

the location is the best for enjoying the asian food people. and the price is acceptable for most of people. anyway. my girlfriend and i like this hotel. we like everything but the window....tooooooo small....but we can understand it. old building...
