close to good resturants i have to have the window open so the noise from george st was very disturbing. room lacked any care in design and no attention to detail - very basic even for the price - a few pictures on the wall - brighter and more cheerful decor would help. |

The close proximity to city centre and transport systems. Easy access to restaurants. Security system employed by the hotel especially after 10pm. Being near the city centre noise was inevitable but was very intrusive at times. Shouting and screaming by young people leaving clubs in the early hours was a problem most nights. Work on a tower block across George Street was also a problem after the Easter break had finished. |

Good location in city My room was very noisy. There was a food court/bar right underneath it where young people were partying until 2 in the morning and after this there was some loud conversation. My request for a change of room was denied. Reception staff was not very friendly. |

Very close to Chinatown and Darling Harbour. Lots of cheap restaurants nearby. Easy walk to the centre of the city and all the main attractions. Communal laundry and kitchen with kettle, hotplate, microwave, frig, crockery and cutlery. Able to prepare own meals. Frig in room. Reasonable size en suite. Excellent hot showers. Rooms vary in size and position. Our room was very small. OK because we had only one suitcase. A chest of drawers but no cupboard. Some hooks on the wall and a few hangers provided. No bedside table. No reading lamp. Only light switch near door. Blockout curtains but our window faced a sign which was lit up all night. Lots of steep stairs to climb. |

Rooms were very small and basic. The first room allocated was very noisy being situated above a bar resturant which continued until very late. The Air Con did not work so the first night was unpleasant. The room was changed the next moerning to a much quieter location. |

Handy for transport very close to Central station, monorail, bus routes. Walking distance to Darling Harbour - good shopping nearby. A little noisy, especially from the cafe/bar area but this did not detract from our stay. |

It was close to the venues I needed to access. The room was small but adequate, and the price was very fair. |

There is one lady who is extreamly mean at the reception. I was very upset to her since she didn't want to tell me how to get to the airport by bus and train. I saw her smoking in front of locker place during her work time. It was my last day in Sydney and she made me feel real terrible. |
