The hotel is simple and straight to the point. It has everything you would need to have family trip in Sydney. The room is small, but clean and the facilities are adequate. The staff are friendly. It located perfectly.. close to central station, market, and minutes away to darling harbor or harbor bridge/opera house.

Nothing too much to share.

Close to public transport,so we made plenty of use of the $2.50.pensioner ticket. We got our moneys worth.we will book again

Lack of essential furniture i.e. no closet, no bedside table, no bedside lamp, the room is small and irregular in shape, the lighting, the deco is somewhat tired.

I am very like this hotel. Facilities are very good. Everythind is good. I hope i can come here again.

The best thing about the hotel was its fabulous location in George street which is the main street in downtown Sydney leading to the harbour. The free shuttle (Green bus) stops right outside the hotel and takes you to the harbour. It is a 10 minute walk to Darling harbour and cruise ship terminal Barangaroo.

Near to eateries and cafes. Walking distance to Paddy's Market and Capitol Theatre. Good location with free shuttle bus towards Sydney Opera House. Also the staff are friendly and helpful.

In spite of its age the hotel provides surprisingly good rooms with up-to-date comfort.

Loading and unloading luggage is difficult because the hotel lies in a busy street.

Room was clean, beds comfy, and staff very friendly. We were more than happy with everything.

Building was very 'tired' and first impressions not very favourable. The 'cube seats' in the room could definitely do with replacing.

The location is good, 7 minutes walk to Town Hall station. Staffs are friendly.

It is unbelievable small, even smaller than backpackers and youths hostel! And it costs me $185 per night! I stayed in a service apartment nearby for the next 2 days, similar price but much much better.

Location; it is easy walking distance from the Convention Centre (and that's why I was in Sydney) and Darling Harbour and Pier. Also right downtown, on the edge (maybe part of) Chinatown, so most of downtown is very close.

Very tired facility: needs some serious upgrading. The kitchen/lounge are bright and clean, reception is ok, but the carpets ! They are long past worn out and they're a litmus test for the entire hotel. I think the owners are cheap and could make the rooms more comfortable and do some serious renos. Really needs more than just cosmetic changes.

I liked the convienence of being so close to everything. The room was neat and clean.

There wasn't much storage which was diappointing.

Close to Sydney cbd and Chinatown/Darling Harbour

Dont expect room to move our room had 30 cms on one side and a cupboard with fridge on the other side, the bathroom was as big as the bedroom. We had no air conditioning from Sunday when we arrived till checkout, I had to ask for 2 fans as no windows in the room. I was so angry I did not allow cleaning on Monday but no message was left to say they needed access to the room to fix the air con- it was absolutely stifling in the room and my husband and I were in Sydney on business-- never again. I also was not told I had to leave a $100-00 deposit for???? And was then charged a $5-00 credit card fee. Like I said never again.

Convienience of parking near by at a reasonable rate.

Nice staff and spacious room, comfortable lounge with cooking possibility, perfect location next to the city center, bus station in front of the hotel and free bus 555 takes you to the harbour (if you do not prefer to walk 20 min)

LIttle renovation would be nice but not too bad for historical house

No toilet brush. No lock on the bathroom door. That's all I can think of :) all good!

The fact that is is situated in such a central position to the City of Sydney, which made is so easy to get around.
