We stayed overnight from Canberra to attend a concert at the Sydney Entertainment Centre. Location close to Sydney Entertainment Centre and Paddy's markets. Also close to Central Station and Dickson St. Modern decor and competitive room price. Very helpful staff. Good tv location in room and modern 32" flat panel receiver. Nice firm beds. Clean crisp linen. Despite double glazing on window, still quite noisy from George Street traffic, police/ambulance sirens and general street activity. Tiny lift, but understandable given the age of the building.

I stayed in one in Melbourned a couple of years ago, and was pleasantly surprised to see one in sydney. That is why I booked. Clean rooms, no excess wasted space for price. The price is fantastic at $90/night I am wanting to book again for 3 nightes on 7, 8 and 9th of June, but can't find the same price . I am also advising my work colleagues of this great place. Nothing I suggested my mother look at thie hotel for her 80th birthday next year but we couldn't find the same price. I guess they vary

Perfect location to capitol theater, china town, entertainment centre. Staff were more than happy to ensure we could check in early. We also left some items behind. We contacted the hotel and it was located and forwarded to us. Excellent service and very comfortable rooms. Smoking area so we did not have to stand on the street.

The location is excellent being close to theatres, restaurants and transport. It was quiet even though my room faced George St, Sydney. The beds were very comfortable - had a great night's sleep ready to get back to work the next day. I couldn't pick up the "free" tv stations (Channel 9, 7, etc) as I like to watch the local news service in the mornings. The Foxtel stations entertaining - I'm just being fussy.

The room was certainly very clean and the linen and beds were very comfortable. The staff were also very good to deal with. Location was very good, close to shops, bus stops, train station etc. Very small rooms with no shelving in the bathroom so cosmetics etc had to be placed on the floor. Lighting was also very poor both in the main room and bathroom. Front foyer and hallways defnatey need an urgent makeover.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and beds are comfy! Beautiful big shower head! It's in a great location - mid-way between Central and QVB. We'd definitely stay there again. The noise (bass) of the music from the pub next door at night was tiring but bearable. We did have the room closest to the pub, so I'm sure other rooms would have less noise.

The staff were fantastic and helpful, and found us a restaurant nearby that catered for Vegans and Vegetarians. The location was excellent, the room clean and comfortable, the shower was awesome. The only thing I would have liked was for the air conditioning to go a bit lower than 22 degrees - it was very close in the room.

I liked the location and the very reasonable price and very friendly staff. Room lighting very good and bed comfortable. Request room on quiet side of hotel or noise from Sussex street could affect sleep.. Noisy fridge and air conditioner in room turned conditioner off then back on now and then for a minute or so to quickly cool room. Shuttle pick up from Sussex st though arcade not George street not easy if you have alot of luggage means hauling it round! ..Recommnded to those that want a reasonably priced very central hotel. Hotel not easy to see from street.

For this price it is really close to the city center, just at the beginning of Chinatown. With bus and trains is realy easy to move eather to the city center than to the beaches. Rooms are really tiny and housekeepint in every 2 days. If you can stand it is really value for money.
