Balcony and view from room
Stairs. Noise from room next door-tv and voices
The location is central to Hepburn with very helpful staff, food & coffee was excellent!
Bed was very soft & balcony not as private as we hoped, the neighboring room balcony could see into our bedroom.
Restaurant overpriced and way too fancy. Wagyue steak comes with garden greens, the only green seen on a plate was 2 leaves. The Argus restaurant a massive let down for what was an amazing stay on your beautiful premises.
Quite pleasant young female staff.
Maitre D greeted us with "Hi Guys", very slow with wine list, had to ask several times for food menu, bread rolls, Had Wagu beef, very expensive $47,very small portion, then cheese platter for 2, once again very small portion. For a 1 hat restaurant, not impressed at all
not worth the money I paid for as the room was very small.
The reception that we had on arrival, and the breakfast!
The outside area of the room was very dark. The fan in the bathroom went on and off when in the room and was very annoying!
The common areas of the hotel are nice, including breakfast. We also enjoyed an afternoon at the hotels spa. The hotel is also across the road from the mineral spring walking trail which is also a great walk.
We were in room 502 which is at the front of the property close to the road. We could hear the road noise and also the outside lights from hotel shone in around the curtain. The room is very small. I'm probably making this sound a lot worse than it really was. We did really enjoy our stay.
The room was excellent, perfect size. Loved the heating! Breakfast was lovely. Staff were friendly and hospitable.
Not being able to stay longer :(
Really nice breakfast.
Room was freezing despite the heater being on high. Difficult booking online for 3 people, despite entering details of 1 adult and 2 children and there ages and not very understanding staff when they charged me more money for 3rd child. This should have been explained better online. We had booked a room in the hotel upstairs but because they thought the booking was for 2 people despite it saying it would accommodate 3 we were supposedly "upgraded" out the back in a freezing villa. With a "spa" which was outside on a deck in the middle of winter, this wasnt explained and so went to waste, inside i would have used it for sure. I doubt it was an upgrade, felt more like a downgrade. I was underwhelmed by peppers as I have stayed in palm cove peppers which was beautiful. I thought peppers Hepburn springs was old and tired and expensive for what we had.
Liked the spa treatment and the bread in the restaurant. Also like it when they choose to gift complimentary weekends to those who respond to surveys
Not being able to spend more time there
Everything was good pleasurable place to stay at & relax.
Expensive for what's offered & value.
The entrance was nice loved the fire and the feel of the place, upstairs for the rooms were very nice. Couldn't go past the breakfast amazing so close and yet so yummy. Great parking, 5 star stay
The mineral spa is a bit costy all I can fault.
the old world charm with a modern influence. The gardens were beautiful you could have been in Italy or France. The staff were so helpful
The size of the meal in the restaurant was very small
The room was great it had a nice little balcony and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was had one of the best selections I've ever had.
Extractor fans were a little too small for the amount of steam from the spa and shower
Villas were very nice fire place was wonderful we liked everything about the Villa although an outdoor heater on the terrace would have been great so you can get more use of the terrace during cold days and nights .
There were no bath salts or bubble bath for the spa in the bedroom which didn't make sense seeing it's a big feature of the room , also the spa massages were terrible worst i've ever had they were more of a rub down than a massage would normally have asked for our money back but didn't want a fuss on our romantic weekend also we were never asked how we felt about the massage either so they would not know how we felt .
The location was great
The staff weren't friendly and fairly snooty
The food was genius and the staff were brilliant and so friendly. The room was fabulous and we are definitely coming again.
Down-stairs area, very good.
Even so, we were upgraded ?! Room very poor - very dark - only light coming from a door. We didn't think 'it was value for what we paid'.
The breakfast was great!
Room was full of cheap appliances and bed was shocking. Rip in curtains and dints in walls. Nearly $1,000 for 2 nights we expected more than a tiny room.
day spa was amazing
thought that room tariff was expensive for what you got. spa bath was very high to get into and out of to have a shower.
The area of Daylesford
accommodation price as compared to standards of service and room. staff service
The hotel is lovely
It's very overpriced for a single night $400 is quite steep. Having to pay $3.80 for a coffee when paying $400?per night.???? Also when checking the person did not even make eye contact with us and we had to pay full amount up front before we got our room. We were not feeling the love at all and will not go back
Very surprised at the level of accommodation. Clean, private, spacious and charmingly decorated. I loved the quietness of my surroundings and breakfast was included. The spa treatment was relatively good and the mineral spa was private l and relaxing.
I was a little disappointed that the desk clerk had asked me for an extra $100.00 dollars on my credit card to cover expenses on my leaving; no sundries had been used from the room, my accommodation had been paid prior to my stay. The spar treatment had also been previously part paid, the remainder was paid on my leaving. The staff still insisted on having the $100.00 credit. I think this procedure is very rude. The full breakfast did not include a coffee, unless it was the pre-made one at the buffet. However, the coffee was listed on the breakfast menu, I was asked to pay for it. This was not made known to me by staff before I had ordered the coffee.
Dining Experience excellent Breakfast and Dinner Spa excellent
