This was our first stay at Peppers and WOW, it was fantastic. We even got an upgrade to our own private plunge pool. Everything about the stay was amazing. Buffet breakfast was lovely and the free Wi-Fi an added bonus. Will definitely visit again.
Excellent facilities and food, short walk to the beach, relaxing stay.
Staff were very helpful. Weather was terrible but they couldn't help that.
Service was great food was good and staff were friendly and helpful location was great too
The setting and staff great breakfast great facilities for our grandchildren
smelling drains in bathroom
The pool, beach and 2 bedroom apartment were awesome! The bike hire made for some great family memories and the child friendly pub with BIG play area and nice restaurants within walking distance meant we didn't have to use our car at all. We had a misunderstanding when booking two single rooms, not realising they didn't have interconnecting rooms and even though it was the busiest time of the year they managed to move us into a 2 bedroom apartment which was ideal for us. One room was at the back of the apartment so our toddler could go to bed early (the portacot fit in the second room with a king bed for our 8 year old) and we could stay up in the lounge area and watch TV till late. We usually stay at Bale as a couple but Peppers was perfect for a family holiday and the rooms were much better than expected - without having that typical hotel vibe. Highly recommended!
The only downside was that we were woken up by the guests in the room above us walking/running around a lot early in the morning but it wasn't really an issue as we had small kids of our own. If you enjoy a sleep in maybe ask for the top floor or check out Bale as you can still use the facilities at Peppers.
pool was great sometimes some dirty glasses etc left the big chairs were nice - could be a few more the water temperature was lovely room was good, bathroom layout a bit odd - a bit old breakfast very nice
no maps of the area no boogie boards to use
lovely rooms and very clean. Free movies was great. Great pool (if you like lots of small children)
People hogging umbrellas at the pool with a towel that stays put all day. Very quiet, not much going on. A bit boring after spending 2 weeks in Noosa, (this was a 3 night stop over on the way home).
Everything. Will take the whole family next year if we get the same deal. We would need 3 rooms or a 3 bed apartment.
The buffet dinner at Mantra. The hot food was cold. The staff were not a patch on Peppers Salt. Everything seemed a chore. The only reason we went there was Peppers was fully booked.
Our apartment was only serviced twice out or a five day stay and should have been every day. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were shocking. Wifi didn't work most of the time.
1 bedroom apartment overlooking pool - clean, good location, comfortable. Breakfast adequate.
Fourth choice of room after being shown three with very loud air conditioning units, one of the three also had smelt stale and another with a concrete balcony wall which meant no view while seated.
Impressive gardens , pools immaculate, very relaxing, efficient friendly staff, restaurant excellent.
Not impressed with full payment being extracted from credit card before the agreed 21 day prior cancellation policy,
Relaxing time and great facilities
On checking in found that tge restaurant was fully booked and choice of other restaurants wasn't the best
Good facilities, short walk to beautiful beach.Great place for a relaxing holiday. Hope to go back one day.
On Coolongatta airport approach route. No security screens on windows or doors therefore reliant on air conditioning.
Nice village Salt hotel great place Very friendly
The sun beds were so hard and uncomfortable at the resort The resort would suit young families more than a Mature couple
Room size was excellent.
We wanted a break but found the number of undisciplined children overrunning all areas rather disconcerting. It would have been nice to have a few areas for adults to relax without this.Especially a pool area. We also found the mirror in the bedroom area quite dangerous,it looked like another doorway, and we almost ran into it on numerous occasions.
There was not much NOT to like! Staff are brilliant, services are fantastic and our room was fabulous!
The underground carpark needs to be blocked off to non-guests when the hotel is fully booked.
The layout of our room with a personal pool .the main pool and beach sand a great idea we loved it also the family
Internet cost, Other countries have free internet Australia is sooo behind in this area
The resort was well set up the infrastructure was good. Had a pleasant atmosphere and an excellent breakfast
Staff let things good, they need to take pride in their work. Clean up around pool area,,glasses plates etc shouldn't be left by guests but if they are they need to be removed. Cleaners clean the room well but don't clean balcony area, where guest spend time.
Staff we're very helpful
General facilities were good. Location was quiet with local township cute and only short drive away.
Two single beds pushed together and sold as double or king bed is extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable for resort level accommodation.
Our room had a bad smell from wet carpet which meant it was unpleasant to be in room but it was very hot so leaving doors open not good There was also someone hair on walk on bathroom on arrival - unpleasant
Ease of moving around the facility and the neighbouring area. Proximity to the beach.
Having to line up for extended periods to get breakfast. The poor quality of tidying the room and making the bed. The poor response from management when advised of the extent of bird droppings on my car that was parked in the building's undercover carpark.
