Handy to a tram stop Value for money
No instructions for air conditioner We run out of hot water a few times Dinner plates didn't fit in dishwasher No convenience store or grocery store very close Neighbors are easily heard
The tram stop is right next to the apartments, very convenient.
We booked one bedroom apartment, which we did not get. Instead we got a street level studio, which was nothing like advertised on the website. After complaints, we got a better studio, but still - check if your apartment is at the street level or facing the street - do not take it, it is very noisy street 24/7. Other apartments facing the backyard might be a good option.
the location was great for what we wanted the facilities were terrific
our friends had room 1 and we had room 3,their room a little less pleasurable as local traffic and hoons banged on their windows continually during the early hours and we had to go to another location to pick up the key
location was ok.
noisy. could hear traffic all night. could hear next rooms tv on all night. smelt of cigarette smoke. cleanliness was just ok. would not recommend it at all and won't be going back.
Extra bed offered for our toddler. Washing options with dryer in apartment. Ease of check-out!
Zipped bed in main bedroom rather uncomfortable. Not enough hot water, on arrival I had a COLD shower! No blind on glass door to courtyard and courtyard was dirty! Noise from other apartments - other guests using the washing machine at 4am!! Better noise proofing needed!!
Roomy appartement with everything we needed. Staff assisted with providing us a downstairs appartement without problems. Nice and quiet. close to hospital and public transport.
The walls could probably do with a good scrub but besides that it was good.
Very spacious, clean and close to facilities required
Great value for money
Have stayed here many times but it needs a freshen up five years on
It was large and had everything I needed. The location and ease of parking was great.I would stay again.
It could do with a 'spring' clean. Clean but walls and edges of floors need a good clean.
Great location, very close to tram stop, walking distance to great coffee shops and to the major Melbourne hospitals, which was our focus.
Footsteps of occupants walking in apartment above ours was very intrusive.
the facility ws lovely. I left something inthe room and the staff were able to locate it and leave it at reception... Well done!
we stayed in unit 15 and the two top matresses kept moving apart, so it made for an uncomfortable sleep
Good size room and bathroom. Good kitchen too. Adjacent to tram line into city.
Room layout where TV was next to the bed. A bit of a walk to get to food/restaurants.
Excellent value for money and the location was where we needed to be. The shower was good.
The large bed was two single mattresses put together which wasn't very good as both our feet hung over the edge of the bed. I think the foyer should have a vending machine or something similar.
Great location, reasonably clean and well presented, excellent value for money.
Having to check-in at a different location was a hassle (the Plum apartments in North Melbourne don't have a reception service), especially when arriving late at night. Lack of an efficient heating system (there was no split-system, only a small oil heater) was also inconvenient.
Beautiful apartment, loved the kitchen area. Staff were great, initial room, no air con remote, they happily changed rooms for me. Very quiet and close to city too.
Not that I didn't like, but no light in main lamp of lounge. And the washer /dryer was a bit hard to figure out. Washing was fine....drying was a different story. On the upside I would stay here again and recommend to visitors too...
Bathroom was clean Close to The Royal Hospital
Cigarette smell in the room. Specific request for 2 rooms neighbouring each other but ended up given 2 rooms with only common walls between each other even though staff at reception checked on floor plan at check-in. Check-in location not walkable distance to actual apartment.
Plum Apartment in North Melbourne Overall good. The Male Customer Front Staff was helpful.
Leah the Front Office Staff is Arrogant and Rude. Being in a Management Position myself, she is not a good asset to plum Apartments. In addition, not very attentive to detail.
Great to out of cbd of Melbourne & explored errol st& markets, walks around the clean streets,& also loved the charm & food of the 3 crowns pub. It was all fabulous,& plum apartments offered a home away from home experience. Secure , clean & lovely to come back to. Thank you
I feel that more crockery was needed, ie bread & butter plates, also door handle in kitchen kept falling out, small thing in comparison to overall stay of fabulous.
The apartment was clean and modern. The tram stop was right outside the apartment block so it was about a ten minute tram ride to get into the city which was handy. Such good value for money. I will staying there again!
Excellent location close to tram and shops on Errol st.
My room was overlooking Arden st and was incredibly noisy
We like the vicinity, it's relaxing. In addition, the Customer Service guy who assisted us on the 1st of May was helpful and nice.
Coming back from our trip, we checked-in again. The Customer Service Lady (LEA) was so RUDE and really POOR PR. She is so arrogant while picking up our KEYS. We phoned her to drop a sink-plug but did not appear since then when requested. In my Assestment on her, if you continue to hire her she is not an ASSET to your good company.
Great location close to tram and only 5 mins from Flinders st. Spacious rooms hot shower and comfortable bed. Free parking but after 9.00am to 5.00 pm is 2 hour park only.
Unfortunately this hotel is really starting to look run down. I've stayed twice same room and carpets and viny floors are badly stained, hand basin very cracked, couch stained walls stained and chipped in parts. Needs a new lease of life. It's a pity lovely old place but owners are letting it go. Have to pick up key from different location can be tricky for first time travellers to Melbourne or no car.
It was close to where we needed to be.
I love the location, the rates are affordable, the apartments are clean, modern and well laid out. I stayed in number one, which faces the street and which some may find a bit noisy, but it didn't worry me. My daughter loved the cellar and used it as a play room. Fresh towels are supplied each day and the kitchenette was very handy.
if I didn't have a car, I would find the pick up of keys difficult... being in a different suburb to the apartment. Parking is a bit tricky, but manageable.
