Sit on the veranda and watch the beautiful sunsets while enjoying a glass of wine. With all of the comforts of home it is the ideal place to enjoy a country feel only 15 mins from Ballarat CBD. Everyone loves the feeling of spaciousness and room for the kids to play. We are ideally suited to families with children with plenty of space for kids to play. Pound hill cottage has a fully equipped kitchen including microwave, oven and dishwasher. In the newly remodelled bathroom there is all the luxuries including shampoo, body wash and conditioner. All linen is provided with electric blankets too. A cot is available on request at no extra charge (guests must provide their own cot sheets). A single lock up garage is available onsite and easy to access. Enjoy a light breakfast provided for the first morning. Tea and coffee are also provided. A fully equipped laundry with washing machine, dryer and iron is part of everything we have to offer. A Tv, CD player with Bluetooth and DVD player provide all the comforts of home. Hello, I am Kylie and I love to travel so when I had the opportunity to start my very own country style accommodation I was very excited. I also have a beautiful converted church accommodation located in Miners Rest. My husband and my kids are my greatest loves and I can’t live without them. Pound Hill Cottage is located in the suburb of Miners Rest approx 15 mins from Ballarat's CBD. The cottage is situated on our 10 acre property surrounded in picturesque countryside with lovely views. The cottage itself has 1 acre of land surrounding it so there is plenty of space for the kids to run and move. There is also a swing set and cricket set available for the kids to use. Pound Hill Cottage is surrounded by farm land and during spring there is often views of canola fields to be seen and occasionally a kangaroo or two. A short drive into Miners Rest you will find a local IGA supermarket, general store where you can buy takeaway such as fish and chips and a tavern which does lovely home style meals. You will find the area quiet and safe for families.
