Punthill Apartment Hotel - Flinders Lane  

Location is perfect for city lovers. Central to all our needs and your right amongst the the vibe of the city. Gary and his partner were great hosts. Thank you.

Decor and facilities a little dated but this wont stop us from staying there in the future.

I was on a motorbike so I appreciated the secure, undercover parking. The staff were warm,friendly and accommodated my needs.

Lack of a parking spot at the front door so I could check in.

I like its location, right at the center of everything.

At this day and age, they charge so much for wifi use!!! Also, I really didn't like the fact that there was no one at the reception past a certain time at night (7pm if I remember right). It's not right for a hotel to "abandon" their visitors at any time of the day. Their elevators are quite scary too.

staff were friendly & very helpful. Apartment clean & central , surrounded by lots of good lane way cafes & shopping. Have stayed here once before and would stay again.

poor lighting over bathroom mirror (I wear spectacles and have to take them off for doing makeup - so good lighting necessary)

Great central location,close to all transport facilities and a great range of dining options

The location was great. The room has plenty of space with a living room dining room and kitchen.

Had to pay for use of laundry and it was not in the room. Elevator was a little scary. Only one shower in the 2 bedroom apartment and it was in the bedroom bathroom.

Location was the best

Everything! Close to public transport, shops and all the Melbourne attractions. A clean and reasonably priced place to stay. Highly recommend.

Couldn't have asked for more - and the cafe downstairs was open on Good Friday! Apartment was clean and serviced well. Loved location down a few steps turn right onto Degraves St and huge choice of eateries. 4 mins walk from Flinders Staton, 8 mins to Fed Sq. and Young & Jackson pub - restaurant upstairs great meal. Came for Springsteen concert at Hanging Rock, but will be back for shopping. eating and walking!! Was recommended to Punthill - Flinders by friends, Definitely stay here again.

Serviced daily by very pleasant staff, nothing was too much trouble. Reception staff excellent, especially with information on transport etc. around Melbourne. Free Internet access on hotel guest computer with printer. Very centrally located.

We wanted to attend a family wedding close to the Marriot Hotel on Lonsdale. My brother was booked at Punthill close to the venue.I was not advised about the distance to the Flinders Lane Apartments

the lifts need a bit of attention very difficult to use

Great location, good rooms. Excellent to have secure on site parking. Rooms were clean. We had no view from our room, but we had fake turf on the large window sills and a little metal cat sitting there - very cute!

Told the staff on check in we would have to check out late night Sunday, when I came to do it there were no staff on reception. I had to make phone calls to sort it out ! got diverted to their call centre and they said to just leave keys in the room, then the hotel called me again on Monday asking for the keys! Very frustrating - especially as we still paid for the Sunday nite we didn't actually stay there. Also found the exit of the car park a bit tricky due to the narrow lane.

gret location right in Melbourne City - we were there for F1 Grand Prix - it was comfortabl, quiet and close to transport

Great location, helpful & friendly front office staff.

Air conditioning was not consistent. Didn't come back on quick enough so woke up regularly during night too hot or too cold.

The staff were great and very helpful. The price was great, the room was large and comfortable.

The floor creaks!

Reception was friendly and helpful. Very close proximity to train station, restaurants, shops, museums, theatres. Facilities more than adequate and tea and coffee replenished daily. Good water pressure in the shower, sufficient towels and professionally cleaned daily. Comfortable bed.

Our room was directly adjacent to the lift which was rather noisy at times with other guests comings and goings at all times of the day and night.

Location Male staff member in front desk was so helpful in assisting us to et a station wagon taxi to fit our luggage and baby

Noisy neighbors (room next door) woke our baby up twice around midnight Sofa bed was absolutely terrible - mattress was so thin and the wires were so hard and about to break through. We had to layer blankets on the mattress and the next day ask for a roll out bed as my sister had no sleep! Noise from the alley (can't be helped I guess)

Windows facing street wouldn't close, allowing noise,we asked twice at reception if they could send someone to do this,it seemed to go ignored.
