Handy to the CBD and South Bank

Not enough coffee/tea towels etc Not serviced enough and had to complain about the state of the bathroom before they sent up someone to clean it. Hairs in the bath and on floor. We stayed 4 nights and the only time it was serviced was the first night after I had complained.

The central location to the Roma Street Transit.

Nothing readily comes to mind.

I think the sign said I had to take my own litter out, didn't like that

Loved the space in this apartment and the very convenient location .... Shops, restaurants close by and the transit centre opposite.

There was no free wifi and there were big warnings about the over sensitive smoke detectors, with a large fine if the alarm was triggered. We were told not to let steam build up in shower yet there was no ventilator. A bit off putting.

Fantastic location with a small but convenient car park. Friendly staff. This is my second time staying here anyway.

Value, free parking. Reception callrd to advise when our room was ready. Liked the view from being on level 13. Liked that the apartment wsd spacious

Requested early checkin when booking but couldnt checkin till about 1 because housekeeping was late

Good location. Good in room facilities.

Bathroom shower very mouldy No designated car parking for each apartment. There was guest (young couple) who had there friends park downstairs.

Central location close to public transport and suncorp stadium.

Bathroom was dirty and had mould around the bath tub.

I didn't like finding a used condom in the draw next to my bed. I would have mentioned it on my check out but my wife checked us out instead, and no way would she have mentioned it

We loved the location and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size very clean and comfortable

The large spacious apartment

No TV in the bedroom

Location is excellent Just cross the street just coming out of Roma St Air-Train station direct from the airport in 30min. Also there is a cafe with free wi-fi right next to Abbey where you can get the internet from the hotel lobby as well without having to order food/drinks each time (but it closes at 4.30pm along with the wi-fi). The hotel gives a free 2hr on wired line for 1st day. Walking to Queen St mall the main shopping area is like 5mins .. what else can you ask for?

The room was clean but for the price you are getting which is excellent, expect only a 3-star quality furnishing .. albeit you have everything you need. One small grouse the double bed is 2 single-bed joint. For a single traveller like myself that is ok. For couples better ask them clearly what you are getting ..

Lack of kitchen cutlery and crockery.

I like the location

Chairs were falling apart. I saw reception and they gave me an alan key. I personally fixed three chairs before we could use them. No coffee or milk at check-in. Got them from reception. Not up to Abbey Aparts usual standards.

Roomy Apartment recently renovated to a good standard at a reasonable rate

I have lived in the Abbey for months as an employee of newcrest mining I always found the staff helpful and would reccomend the facility to everyone.

I didnt like the super sensitive smoke alarms that got me out of bed 3 times to go down the steps to the street I dont smoke. I know its better to be safe than sorry. I think that more info to the guest when booking in would be more useful.

A very nice apartment with everything I needed for my stay. No problem extending my stay both a day earlier than planned, and a day later leaving. Great to have the washer and dryer.

On my extended day I got locked out of the building and the Gen Manager had to come and let me in and fix my keys. Small error, but what if it was 3am?

I was placed in a yet to be refurbished apartment which while quite comfortable was a little 'rouggh around the edges'

Was promised parking and lot was full. Had to pay $75 to park else ware Did not get the room we requested. Was supposed to be two beds. Was old and dirty. Don't bother

The proximity and the sauna the king bed and the quality of the sheets. I liked the fact that I could get a budget price as the room had not been updated with the latest furnishings as I was only in there each evening.

The sauna floor near the heater was unclean mud around this area.
