My room was not made up, the bed was simply pulled up. The snack bar was not restocked on two nights. Breakfast in the restaurant was slow, almost cold when finally served and the coffee was ordinary. A barista coffee should not contain half a cup of froth, and when asked to be served in a cup, should not be in a mug.
We like the location as we have easy walking access to shops in the metro area. Secure parking is a huge plus.
Nothing really. We had all we needed at a reasonable tariff : let's face it: for a few nights all you need is a good comfortable bed and shower . Our needs we're met.
Clean room great location and friendly hotel staff
Restaurant downstairs was understaffed resulting in poor service apart from that food was ok
Like the location of the hotel. Easy walking distance to the waterfront. Front staff very friendly, easy check-in.
The condition of the carpet. Really needs upgrading.
The room was small but perfect for 1 night stay. The bed was very comfortable.
Noisy streets below late at night but it was Saturday night and the hotel is positioned centrally
Close to city,good room service,parking
Restaurant closed on public holidays
The location was really close to everything.
The beds were very uncomfortable as were the pillows.
Staff were very helpful
The location was excellent for access to the city precinct. Having parking available was excellent.
The chairs the bedrooms were worn and the seat very flattened making it uncomfortable.
Banging doors, hard to close, constant, banging. Go to the bathroom and you can hear next doors conversations, no sound proofing. Leaking tap for shower makes it loose pressure.
Location which is close to shopping and eating outlets. Price is reasonable.
Parking space a little small.
Easy walking distance to everything. Staff were very helpful. Breakfasts good. Downstairs bar hopeless!
They put cushed can drink in the mini bar.
Very tiny room with a large wall mounted heater which was excessively noisy all night but as the night was very cold so we had the heater on. Have stayed at this Motel many times previously but have never had such a small room.
It's Very clean, it's an old hotel but refurbished and has all the comforts we needed plus more, including added plunger coffee as an extra. Bonus to have a bath as a shower base so you can have a soak after a busy day, handy for children also. Nice and central to everything in town, Farmer's market at your doorstep Sunday mornings was a wonderful treat, restaurant at the bottom floor was very good, room service also available. Free shuttle from airport on arrival, fees only on return. Great to have a window that opens for fresh air ! Many thanks we had a wonderful stay !
Nothing bad to say, we loved our stay !
We were right next to the lift and heard that moving all night. The walls are also very thin so we heard everything that our neighbours were doing. Everything!!
Centre of town and could hear no outside noise. Curtains kept room dark so you could sleep in.
Lift well next to room was occasionally noisy.
Room was comfortable Good location next to the Sunday Markets
There was one friendly staff member that I spoke to, the rest seemed to be indifferent. Lack of free wi-fi
The fact that the price was good and it was central
Location, free parking, free transfer from the airport
They need to change their name to low quality hotel. It's the worst hotel I've ever stayed in Australia. Everything is very old!! A blanket and pillows are terrible. We've gotten just 2 small bars of soap for 4 days!!! The owner of the hotel is really greedy.
Great spot. Older Hotel, but prices reflect that and it has everything you need for a few nights passing through Hobert. Better places out there, but you have to pay a lot more for there.
reception area very slack service the whole place needs a major upgrade right through out including some of the staff.
We liked the central location,it was handy for the Cathedral & the shops.
shower over the bath, beds hard not enough hand towels. needs updating. very noisy.
Not having access to the carpark after 11pm, meant we had to get a taxi to our function.
