The room was beautiful and clean with all mod cons. The beds were really comfortable and the temperature was lovely and warm. The shower hose leaked and sprayed from the side which was a little annoying, but should be able to easily be fixed.

Overall I thought the place was quite nice, the staff are friendly and the facilities good, however.... What I didn't like was the price. Yes, I know I booked the place and the argument can be made that this is no secret however I don't think aud$260 per night was good value for money and that is precisely why I wouldn't recommend this place to others.

Furniture and decor.Trevors assistance. Nothing with accommodation but the breakfast at the George was disappointing. Moldy bread and the service was poor. For laneway concept location and affiliation with the Quest it was a bit of a let down for what we expected. Hopefully it can be improved.

It was quiet and just the right size for a weary traveler. The staff were attentive just enough without being overbearing and were helpful in getting me settled. They provided good advice and service on issues such as locations for meals and a drink.

Great location, centre of Ballarat. Great shopping. Good coffee places and restaurants. Finding the Quality Inn was a challenge (due to minimal advertising, because of restrictions re the historic heritage buildings)

The Heritage is conveniently located amongst the annual 'Ballarat Beat’ rockabilly festival. Secure parking for our special interest vehicle was reassuring. Comfort and cleanliness was a standout. Outdoor lounge/spa area is well laid out but could have been a bit more shaded. We really liked the staff friendliness ... that's why we rebooked another stay. It's a pity when the prices/rates and compulsory number of nights are automatically increased after the success of a weekend festival is realised by business owners. Profit is essential in any business, especially during a down economy. When too many of the towns businesses raise their prices/rates over a number of years, the inevitable happens. Promoters use their options and move their event to other locations as did the ‘Bright Rod Run’ – to Mulwala, Coolangatta’s ‘Wintersun Festival’ – to Port Macquarie etc… Our thoughts only.

The rooms were modern and clean. Staff very helpful in guiding us to Ballarat's facilities and weather etc. Quiet location and very handy to shops and railway station where we caught the bus to our music concert. Offstreet parking is always a bonus! The shower was very leaky around the glass door which wasn't apparent until its first use. We had to end up putting a hand towel down to absorb the water (& wring it out afterwards). The glass door was fully closed too! Also the lighting, whilst "romantic" to some, was very dim - you could not read a book in bed it was so bad. We mentioned these problems in the written survey in-room.

It's very clean, in a modern extension at the rear of a converted heritage style bank building. Located in Lydiard Street, it's in the centre of the old town and surrounded by beautiful old buildings. The rooms are well away from the road, so it's very quiet. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Room comfortable and well appointed. The shower leaked all over the bathmat. The corridor outside the rooms is tiled, so high heels make a lot of noise - annoying if late at night.

The rooms were very spacious and quiet. The rooms seemed to have been renovated not long ago so everything was very nice and clean. They offer free parking. The location of the hotel is unreal, right at the heart of Ballarat historic centre. Highly recommended Notching really, it was a very pleasant surprise. Highly recommended

Room was very comfortable. Very modern design layout. Catered well for small children. Nice, quiet place in the heart of town. Good off street parking. Iron and iron table where cheap and dirty. Iron stained my partners dress. Check out wasn't a smooth transition. Was almost charged double for the stay. Accommodation was a little expensive for what it actually is.

Location, layout of room- design, off street parking availability Reception seemed a bit 'ho hum' when we arrived , very mechanical in their greeting. The male on the desk was difficult to understand and we are English speaking. He mumbled and spoke too fast. Non English speakers would really have difficulty following his directions. We were there New Year's eve and looking for somewhere to dine. He could only refer us to one place although when walking around later we found several open in Lydiard St. Reception seemed more lively and forth coming the next morning when we booked out.
