It's freezing cold even in late autumn and the heater is not enough. Electric blanket would do better job.

Booking done over the internet, when we arrived we buzzed at the gate told to go to our room, there was a welcoming letter with the key and we didn't see any staff until we dropped the key off the next day.

Smokers in the courtyard leaving butts in ashtrays. If door of unit was left open smoke wafted in.

I stay here each time I travel to Ballarat becauseI really like the property for its privacy, space and the staff. This property suits my needs perfdectly. When I cannot get a booking I feel dissapointed.

It was a very comfortable apartment for us to spend a few nights in. Bedrooms comfortable and all modern conveniences bar a dishwasher. Airconditioning and washing machine most helpful.

There was no manager on site. Garden courtyard a bit tired but once inside unit it didn't matter.

I loved the quality of the fittings including the large comfy beds. We liked how the rooms were upstairs and the living area was down stairs. And the facilities were great and the shower pressure was good too. The court yard was lovely and secluded. The location was perfect for us as we were spending a couple of days at Sovereign Hill which meant a the car stayed in the shade and we could walk over. There were also a number of eating places from sit down restaurants to takeaways all within a couple of minutes walk. For us the Mews was brilliant and we would reccommend to others. Good price for the quality of accommodation also deserves a mention. Our boys 7 and 10 also seemed to like it here and liked the driveway to skateboard down (When there were no cars of course.). Nicest and most comfortable accommodation in price range we have stayed in for a while

I didn't like that the office wasn't manned on arrival and that it was only open for certain hours of the day, usually when were out. This was ok though as there was a contact phone if we needed anything but a personal greeting on arrival is always nice. The information folder inside the apartment gave us most of the information we needed anyway. This would not stop us staying again. Minor stuff really as they were contactable. The pros outweigh the cons by a mile.

Location and pleasant courtyard surroundings, close to any cuisine that takes your fancy. Brought back fond memories of our last time there. Obliging host also deserves a mention

Washing machine had not been used for a while - bad smell. Dishwasher would be nice to have.

Heating wasn't very good - for such a cold place.

As a family of four having an apartment meant that we had more space than if we chose a hotel. We could also utilse the kitchen that had everything we needed to make our own breakfast and snacks before a day of tourist activities. We could wash and dry clothes as needed. The service by Reception was fantastic. They assisted us with tickets for a show and provided storage and car parking whilst we left Ballarat to stay a few days in Melbourne. The kids loved the upstairs, downstairs layout. The location is perfect if you want to spend time at Sovereign Hill. It is walking distance to the town and there are a range of shops and restaurants around to cater for food needs.

One: There were cobwebs inside the bathroom window. I noticed this when I was trying to open a window to let some of the steam from the dryer escape.

Great layout, loved that there were heaters in main lounge room and each bedroom which was fantastic for winter travels. Staff very friendly

Rooms were dirty - dirt on carpet when we arrived. Mould on ventian blinds. Airconditioners that didnt work. Unfinished plastering in bathroom. Cupboards/ Wadrobes all needed a good clean out. Dirth tea towel stuffed in the draws.No pride in the apartment whatsoever!
