Quest on Flinders Lane  

Very spacious living room and kitchen, comfortable lounge. Modern and attractive decor throughout. Central location close to everything that the Melbourne cbd presents.

Constant buzzing noise throughout the night. Perhaps the noise was due to air con units outside from other buildings, but we could not see any. The two bathrooms had vents but no exhaust fans. Hence, the bathrooms fogged up during a shower.

We were upgraded to a bigger apartment which was very comfortable as were were 2 couples staying together.

Reception not manned at all times. No one there when we arrive at 2.00pm in the arvo. Had to call up someone.

Close to everything and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly

I liked that you have a dishwasher, dishes and cutlery seems so much cleaner. Nice relaxed feel after busy days.

It was a little noisy of a night, double glazed windows would possibly be enough to fix this. No bench space in bathroom.

1. apt is clean ('cept my aircon unit dripping from fri to sun, only repaired on mon) 2. within walking distance to shopping streets 3.staff are very friendly and helpful, always smiling

1.check out 10am way bit too early (suggest 12pm wud be excellent as most flts dep mel in the afternoon) 2.rooms kinda warm, shud hv A fan cos only 1 aircon unit in the hall 3.insuff bathroom cos with x4 adults at least 2 bathrooms 4.internet costing, shud come as comp esp with this modern era

Location is good.

Cost (function of the time - Grand Prix). No air-conditioning in the bedrooms - at $500.00 a night, that would be expected. Hard edges on mattresses. Street noise in front bedroom.

the floor was dirty, the bathroom had a curry smell about it, and it was too noisy with outside machinery etc.no paid TV, only usual channels.

Broken tap handle in the shower kept on falling off, very noisy air con unit dumped in the lounge, connected to a bucket that had to be emptied every so often

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. It was great value for money right in the middle of the city.

Room 10 has perfect view of the building site next door which starts jackhammering at 7am. Very noisy if you wanted to take a slowere start to the day.

Was an amazing room

$400 bond rediculous, fair enough to hold against and charge after stay if needed but so stupid taking the money out, left me poor for the week and now I can't buy my car on the weekend if the money isn't back in, very angry about that.

Great location and price

It's difficult for a family with young children to secure affordable short stay accomodation in the city. Other venues in the heart of the city could not accomodate all 5 of us in one area, and housing our family in separated hotel rooms is not acceptable. When we arrived in our apartment our first impression was of rapture! So much space, beautiful city views, everything we needed was there.

For our needs there was no down side.

Great location. Lovely apartment in an old building. Furnishing is just right and you have all that you need.

You have to walk 4-5 steps up from ground to the lift lobby, which is fine for me, but difficult for my 60yr old mother with a luggage. No problem for most people, but more senior travelers should take note.

Seriously I was the noisiest place I have ever stayed, doors slaming and loud music from other rooms, motor cycles tearing up and down the side lane until after midnight while they were doing some kind of photo shoots. I would definately not stay at that Quest venue again, nor recommend it to anyone. I was very disappointed as all other Quest experiences have been nothing but positive. We also had to wait 20 minutes for the reception person to come back to the desk so that we could be checked in.

Service top notch - extreme friendliness. Location fabulous. Lovely, clean and comfortably modern. Best sleep for years on Quest bedding (although could have been the four hours of dancing at the Prince concert). Rod Laver venue hosted concert soooo close! Would definitely stay there for other events or any trip to Melbourne CBD. Thank you for adding to a memorable stay! Recommending to all our friends and family.
