The staff were friendly and helpful. Very quiet. The location to Queen Street and Botanical Gardens is good.
The window coverings did not block out the morning sun - we were awake at 5.00am because of it! Also had a incident re: cleanliness that was a bit distasteful.
The location is excellent, close to South Bank and the City. The apartment was a good size and nicely furnished. Very quite and private, not like a hotel at all. Feels like residential apartments, with the bonus of housekeeping.
When staying for a week, having to pay, a lot, for internet is annoying.
I booked this place as it was Central seemed to have a nice pool area fornthebkids to play and relax. I was wrong - very small area and no sun lounges per the marketing pictures so people left to sit on cafe chairs. We checked out after a day and went to Oaks festival towers.
35 degrees and the pool was closed for maintenance.
location and accessibility
View of river. 2 televisions daily clean washing machine and dryer facility quiet atnight good bathrooms and showers great location for city hopper to get to /Southbank and its free on the hopper!
A small pool poor for shops ear y to by essential foods or takeaway need to go to myercentre locks on patio doors very difficult to operate. Door to apartment wouldn't lock on the Sunday we were there reception stored our valuables but no locksmith available. On call out had to leave our apartment unsecured. Apologetic staff but very inconvenient had to take valuables with us when we went out
To book a great place within the city during New Years eve was awesome.
Sitting on the couch and the airconditioning blowing directly on you.
To pay for wi fi
Room 2201 great river views clean and neat room. Staff was amazing and even have us a later check out the next day!
The lift was not air con so was a bit stuffy but can't complain at all will be back!!
It was near to everything and quiet
we like to cater for ourselves at times there was no oven trays the fry pan was awful everything stuck to it. but kitchen was clean.
the room was comfortable , clean and in a great location
the hall way on the sixth floor, had a terrible smell, which we later found out was the garbage shute. It took a phone call to reception to work the air con which need to be rebooted
This hotel was very expensive for what it was. We paid $314 including parking for a one night stay. There were little to no complimentary products, no mini bar, the couches had sunken in on themselves and the service was very poor. I waited over 8 minutes to check in as the attendant was on the phone taking another booking. I understand this however he didn't acknowledge me at all and was then very blunt when checking me in. I was also frustrated as it took over 8 days for our bond to be released to us and when I called to question this I was told that there is nothing they could do. Upon initial check in we were advised the bond would be released to is within 48 hours. The lights in the main room were also very dim and could not be increased. Overall extremely dissatisfied.
It was great how close it was to everything we wanted. I walked the mall to go shopping. We walked the kids through the botanical gardens, over Goodwill Bridge to South Bank markets. Walked to the art gallery, museum and Science Centre. Walked back to unit from QPAC at night. Walked to pancake Manor for brekky. Walked to Eagle Street Pier to catch the City Cat. Fabulous not to use car. Great to stay in such a central location.
The view! It didn't match any shown in photo gallery. But kids were still excited to see other 'skyscrapers' up high.
We were allowed to check in even an hour before the scheduled 2pm.
Our room didn't get any cleaning for our 3 nights stay nor linens or towels replaced. The staff told us that our rates is on special which we are not aware of - so we didn't get those services! Really, this is the first time I've heard of such policy. Did booking.com failed to pass on the info?
The inside of the apartment was spacious for four people. It was clean and nicely decorated.
I didn't enjoy the room location as our view off the balcony was of other buildings and felt mislead by the booking photos. Also tiles looked dirty.
Even though it was Christmas holiday, there should be a place at the very least to keep the luggage for whom arrived early.
ensuite off bedroom with 2 x singles main bathroom had laundry inside tap handle came off---few things require maintainence. Paid for carpark, seems like a lottery to find one available
The Air con! and Kitchen Utilities!
The View. All Building View. Bedroom space. No Foxtel. The Shower being joined with toilet and Laundry in one room. Iron wouldn't stand. Balcony was tiny. Nothing more annoying than an unstable table.
Although at first we were a bit surprised at having to access our room through the carpark, we found this to be very convenient and private so initially this was a negative but become a positive.
nice and close to everything modern facilities
The dryer was broken and the main reason of booking was to have washing facilities. Also the hot water was not working.
room was great very spacious location was close to shops and cafes
The older lady with the bob cut, was very anal, the greeting was cold she didnt even welcome us with a smile. However the mood was different when she left the other staff were smiling and greeting us when we came in and the same when we were heading out :)
Rooms nice and clean, also pool very nice.
Was a little noisy from workmen working opposite.
Microwave to low
TV reception wasn't good
