Executive suite was spacious , comfortable and reasonably quiet. Staff on desk extremely welcoming and helpful.
Bed and linnen
The staff were very pleasant and helpful and did their best to alleviate the problems caused by previous guests aromas! also a great central location for the city centre as distinct from the harbour.
.....and we set off the hotel's smoke alarms making breakfast despite the fact we burnt nothing and had the range hood fan on. No point providing complete kitchen facilities if you can't cook because it evacuates the whole hotel. Bacon & eggs sunny side up shouldn't cause a problem if you don't burn the bacon!
We loved the central position of the accomodation. Walking distance to the Harbour, Salamanca Market , tourist information centre and the main shopping town. The room was lovely and spacious, it was handy to have a kitchenette That way we didn't have to eat out for the 3 meals.
Our disappointment was there was no view at all from our window. The view was internal inside the building.
The location was great.
When I made the booking I thought I booked a 2 bed apartment-as I this is my usual practice. When I entered our room I was so disappointed that we all had to share the same room !!!! With two small boys- you just don"t do this to yourself. We paid a huge amount for the room-hence this is why I thought I had booked a 2 bed. Also booking.com page had told me that the hotel takes the payment upon arrival. When we checked in it had already been taken at an earlier date. Too bad if I had needed that money. I will not be staying at this hotel again-as it does not suit families.
Front desk staff is very helpful. Cleanness and facilities.
A little bit inconvenience for those travelers who arrive with car, because the hotel is at an bus&taxi only street. Even as the hotel guest, you can park by the street for a while to check in, but the car park is located two blocks away, and charge 15 bucks per day.
Close to shops and within a short walk to the river. Discreet access to the hotel. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.
We wanted a kitchen to be able to cook up some local produce for dinner, but realised that we needed a lot of basic things like salt and pepper etc so had to change our plans. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was either broken or non existent as the room steamed up a lot (sauna).
Pleasant, comfortable stay in a good CBD location
Easy access to the city
Nightmare to get to when you don't know Hobart, one way system was bad and roadworks. Street crossing bleeped all night and keep us all awake like a dripping tap! No pool available unless you are over 16 and want to use the spa.
Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.Rooms were great.Excellent location to resaurants, shops and pubs.Weekend car park facility suggested by Quest was great value. Very happy.
Location and friendly helpful people on desk
Loved most of it.
The fold out couch seemed to be broken and also had a bath but couldn't get the plug out at the end.
The room service staff were excellent, very friendly and willing to help.
Great location, close to CBD & mall. Taxi rank just around the corner. Walking distance to most places. Weekday staff very friendly & helpful. Option to have continental breakfast at the Quest. Quiet rooms.
Weekend staff weren't very helpful
position, room size
Not having an external window
Am a return guest. Staff were great, location is perfect
Would have been good to have had a swim without it costing $25 for one swim. Last time the pool was included in the price. It has changed hands since apparently.
Clare greeted us at reception. She is a absolute credit to your organisation, brilliant customer service.
The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work efficiently. These days you do expect free Wi-Fi. These are only very minor issues.
The Hotel is right in the heart of Hobart and is within easy walking distance for shopping, eating out and leisure activities.
Hotel did not have a car park attached to the building, but was an easy 2 min walk away.
very central plenty of space
parking is a bit of an issue but not insurmountable!
The excelllent service of the personel
The lack of free Wifi
The welcome at reception and the excellent attention to detail by the staff
The parking arrangements leave a lot to be desired. suggest more ionformation on how to enter the property be made available with booking confirmation
I was fortunate enough to stay in the executive suite and it was fantastic. Cannot fault a thing. Fabulous spa, comfy bed, lots of towels, great couch, brilliantly equipped kitchen.
No free wifi but that's hardly a deal breaker.
