-expensive and then a room in the basement -uncomfortable
Clean and comfortable rooms. Close to where we needed to go. Reasonably priced for the area. Would recommend.
A microwave would be a handy appliance to have for people who don't want to or can't go out to eat.
Close to UNSW, hospitals & Coogee beach....what's not to like? Plenty of eating options nearby.uu
Room was bright, clean and had all the facilities you'd want. Kitchen was basic but had everything. Courtyard dining area very nice.
I enquired about parking and did not get a reply back from the desk.
Beds were clean and comfortable One staff member was a bit helpful and another was quite helpful
No wifi in our room Unpleasant smell (due to inadequate ventilation) Bathroom door and walls dirty Excessive noise from guests walking around upstairs Noisy computer gear in corridor Lots of road noise
good basic accommodation for a reasonable price. very close to shopping and restaurants
Very comfy bed good linen and it was clean
Room 5 was not secure enough and the venetian blinds old and bent. From the room above noise from chairs or furniture being moved. people walking back and forth
Comfortable,very clean bedding. Location,car parking.
Very dusty, cracked crockery and not very clean bathroom(mouldy and dusty).
Good position and value
Basement room , poor ventilation in bathroom, people above woke at 5am and we heard every footstep for the next 3hours.
The location so close to Prince of Wales hospital was the main driver for the choice of accommodation but I was pleased with the overall standard of the Lodge and would certainly stay again and recommend it.
Nothing to really dislike
Close to Prince of Wales Hospital. Staff helpful and friendly
Bathroom way too small. couldn't move in it.
Proximity to good food, hospitals(reason for visit), free wifi, good beds, willing assistance from staff.
No towel rails in bathroom, no doona on second bed, hard to pull curtains across windows to block street lights.
The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet.
There was a little bit of mould in the bathroom, but apart from that, it was very clean.
convenient good clean place good value for money
need to let people know about after 6 o'clock door policy when booking. Would not have changed my booking and would come again but would be helpful to be more clear when booking
Quietness if a room at the back. Location to all the Randwick café, shops, beach and public transport.
parking is an issue :on site parking was too congested for us to use even though we booked a spot. We were lucky enough to find parking in nearby street - I emphasise lucky due to all the streets are restricted for residence
Location was good. Beds were comfortable
Bathroom had black mould which is carcinogenic. Parking was a big problem. Either you have allocated parking or not. No-one stuck to the spots allocated to them - and the staff did not monitor the situation.
I liked that Randwick Lodge was in close proximity to both the hospital and the shopping centre. I was able to park my car undercover in secure parking all week and walk over to the hospital each day, then walk up to the shop for food. I loved that when I came back late at night the aircon heated the room quickly, and that the room was functional for my needs.
Location especially for POW Hospital. Security parking. Friendly staff.
The departure was a bit stressful. Other clients knocked early on our door because they had left their keys in the room and then did not have the remote to get out the garage. We spent time trying to work out a solution for our own exit and eventually had to leave the garage door open - why not have a lock box outside the garage to leave the remote in?? PLUS the look of the room did not match up to the photos.
Bathrooms are the only negative they are way too small.
I had a very small room with very loud people staying above me. I notified staff but it was the same again for the next 2 nights!
Close to hospital.
Very basic. Very over priced for facilities provided. Only stay if the location is critical.
A totally disgusting experience. Filthy and fraudulent photos on internet of the rooms. We had to leave.
Close location to Prince of Wales Hospital and Public Transport Buses. Staff advise and assistance. Thank you
Was close to everything we needed. The beds were great to sleep on.
We were on the lower level and on Saturday night the people that were above us sounded like a Heard of elephants walking around so not much sleep that night
