All apartments have a private balcony with views of the Broadwater, Seaworld and South Stradbroke Island. Free parking is available on site. Rays Resort Gold Coast is 10 minutes’ drive from Seaworld and Surfers Paradise. Gold Coast Airport is a 35-minute drive away. Laundry facilities and a full kitchen with an oven and a microwave are standard in all apartments. Each air-conditioned apartment has a living room with a TV. Guests can relax in the tropical gardens, or enjoy a meal in one of the 4 barbecue areas. The tour desk can book river and canal cruises, and day trips to Brisbane. The staff were most helpful. They were extremely flexible given that we were in need of a late check out because of the Gold Coast Tri. We were very happy with our stay. Convenient to the shops and restaurants. The apartment was clean, neat and well presented...the only suggestion would be a fresh coat of paint.

Staff were amazing as we got stranded with storms and couldn't get home so had to stay extra night. They made sure we had food from their own fridge (at no charge) Very family orientated and helpful. Nothing that we didn't like.

Despite it's age and perhaps in need of redecorating, Rays is comfortable, clean, close to shops & beach. The staff were friendly and helpful.I won't hesitate to stay again. Loved the walking paths alongside the water just across the road. Nice for a quick swim after walking. Loved the fireworks I could see from my balcony No wifi in room

Friendly staff, good location Springs in bed could be felt. Old tv no ABC CHANNEL Difficult to get tv and set top box switched on..... No clear instructions for this

Location, the staff very helpful and friendly the road noise(could not have the door open as it was so bloody noisy day and night), no fans and very poor aircon, (because we had to have the room closed up due too noise it got hot and stuffy), the bed was horrible (my back still hurts)

Glad the bed was in working condition. This is not hotel, but holiday units. No breakfast. Reception only opens after 8am till 5pm. No coffee, tea or bottled water in room provided. No mini bar. Drink dispenser machine downstairs takes money, but it doesn't dispense drinks. Views towards other very close building. No curtains, just some blinds with missing parts - meaning little privacy. Few things broken. No cable TV, only American shows with lots and lots of TV commercials. Gym - treadmill changes speed and is dangerous to use. Internet or WI-FI not provided for free! Very expensive at $20/day and very very slow. Far to shops or restaurants or taxi stand. Poor public transport, far away from the train station. In general - not worth the money you pay. You can get much cheaper and at the same time way better hotels in Paris, NY or anywhere else for that money.

Location, it was across the road from the Southport pool which was exactly what we were looking for. They provide you with a dryer, but I felt it would before Eco friendly to have a clothes horse of some kind.
