Being from the us its hard to get use to not having room service. Usually I would just prefer them to stay out but by day three you start realizing what you have been taking for granted... Our "king bed" was actually just two twins put together so it was awkward feeling in the middle which doesnt work well for a couple trying to snuggle, and a microwave would have been nice, those are my only complaints... The Pool was very nice and clean, it was quiet (no screaming kids! Huge bonus in my book) although at busier times you never know... The location is the best part, its an ez walk to EVERYthing but not in the louder part of town, it really is the best location in town for a hotel. Bottle shop across the street, cafes and convenience shops super close by, and a short walk to the marina where you hop on all the boats that go out out dive (and theres also great shopping at that marina as well) overall I would highly recommend it to anyone Weird bed setup, no microwave, or room service... Thats it

Location just off main street, comfortable bed, spa in bathroom, balcony where I could eat breakfast. Wish front desk staff had told me there was a computer for free usage. Found this out third day... After paying at the local internet cafe. also the address is 54 Maccrossan and the entrance is on a little side street so I passed it a couple of times before finding it. However if you read this you know both of these facts so your stay should be great.

All very clean although the room did smell a bit damp on arrival. The staff were fantastic and the place was very comfortable and convenient. We were upgraded and could not complain. Very well equiped. Everything was explained to us on arrival fantastic location. Easy check in and check out. It appeared that there was a swim up bar in the pool and "conference room/empty room" but that was vacant obviously not used but, would have been lovely if it were open for light meals or drinks so you could swim up to it as it was obviously intended.

The location was good and apartment had everything, basic staff. The room was comfortable and clean, the bed was sizeable and again comfortable. It was noisy at night, we had to scream from our balcony to calm down the young crowd on the street. The price for this place what we payed was not fair.We stayed 9 nights and could get much better deal. If we would not book through your organisation we could get the same place cheaper. I would explain to my friends all advantages and disadvantages.

I found pd to be a great little tourist town. Quiet, charming and just enough shops and restaurants to keep you going. The beach is perfect for long walks or running. If you like swimming in the waves this will not disappoint The staff at the Regal Port Douglas to be very helpful and the apartments were cleaned and well appointed. The location of this hotel is perfect, just around the corner from the main shopping street and a couple blocks to 4 mile beach. Overall a great place to stay

The owners were extremely helpful and our stay was very pleasant. Loved the spa bath and the lanovera products. It was also great to have a transfer already booked from the airport. The room we had was quite small but I knew to expect that.

The service was great - we were greeted with a lovely welcome when we arrived at the hotel, everyone was so helpful and the room was exactly what we paid for but nicer - really enjoyed our stay and we will definatley be back! There was nothing I didnt like about the hotel, we only stayed for two nights and we read that the hotels policy is only to service the room after 8 days of someone staying there - where I dont mind the room not be serviced, if i was staying for a week i suppose the only thing that I would like would be to have fresh towels provided every few days.Other than that I couldnt fault anything!

We chose Regal Port Douglas from the internet and were delighted that it matched the description. Sheryl & Bob were extremely helpful and welcoming. The room met all our requirements and was very comfortable. The location was ideal, in easy reach of four mile beach and delightfully close to Mossman Groge, Daintree Village and river and Cape Tribulation. Would definitely recommend to friends and family who are planning to visit Australia and the East Coast over the next year.

Lovely pool area! Wish it was solar heated though, too cold during the winter months even though the temp outside was approx 25 to 26 Degrees. Was expecting a full size fridge and an oven in the self contained apartment but this had neither.

How convenient it was, the friendly staff and the huge balconey! The rooms were not serviced - though we stayed shorter than required time. Even a towel change is nice.
