Regents Court Sydney - by 8hotels

Loved the location , staff was lovely.

Had issue with the bed which was addresses but not resolved. Staff was nice though.

The location is excellent. Easy access to central Sydney via the subway and good access point for wider Sydney, for traveling by car. Car park available by request at a reasonable price. Lots of eating places close by, and an excellent coffee place tucked around the corner. Kitchenette in the room is handy, there is a market place next door and Coles down the road.

The pulldown bed in the room needs an upgrade.

Retro look and location

Room was not clean and despite booking for 3 guests was only prepared for 2 guest. Took 4 attempts until some of these problems were rectified. The dirty kitchen utensils an pots were never cleaned. Great location but very disappointing stay.

Good room layout and location. Very near supermarkets, main transport links and especially liked the fact that the airport shuttle bus picked us up outside the entrance. Staff very helpful-pillows and beds very comfortable. Good free wifi. Would stay again if came to Sydney

Room décor tired and old and kitchen facilities dated and need repair. Aircon unit leaked at night onto carpet and was difficult to control temp. Lift awkward with luggage as doors old fashioned and needed constant support to stay open.

We had an issue with cockroaches. Whilst it was Easter, we didn't feel the staff dealt with it very well. We asked for a discount and the hotel still haven't followed up. There were 3 sharing in a room, the single bed kept collapsing. The marketing materials made this hotel option look much better than it was. I would not recommend this hotel to other people.

The staff at reception were friendly and very helpful. The location is good, very close to King's cross station. We had a bright room with lots of space.

Cleaning was non existent during our 6 day stay. The carpet in the room felt sticky and needs to be replaced.

We really loved staying at Regents Court. We stayed for a full week on a girls' holiday and both the staff and accommodations were excellent. John was particularly helpful and assisted us promptly with whatever we needed. Our room was large and clean - we really enjoyed the full kitchen and dining area. Also, the rooftop garden is exceptional and not to be missed! Many nights, we got take-out from the market next door and ate while watching the sun set from the rooftop. Perfect ending to the day. Would definitely stay there again next time I'm in Sydney.

If you're traveling with kids, the area immediately around the hotel (Kings Cross) can look a bit dodgy at night. Not necessarily dangerous - just not child-friendly.

Close to the main centre but reasonablely quiet.

Not having a clean towel every day. Old lift a bit scary - it did not always stop on your floor and would return to ground floor.

No hairdryer, and the room was quite dark

I had organised for a late check in and car park and had received a confirmation e-mail, but late check in had not been organised and neither had the car parking, so at 11-30pm we were not in the mood for something like this to be happening, we were also not told that reception does not open till 9am on weekends which is a bit late for travellers on the move.

The location was great, near a train, nice quite street except for the back alley which can be noisy at night if you are in a back room which we were but still enjoyed our stay. Would stay there again if we go back to Sydney. Easy trip to city and opera house and bondi beach.

The staff were phenomenal, John, Taylor and the blonde girl (sorry, didn't get her name). We were treated so well that we are definately going to return to Regents Court. The location was very convenient to the train stn and a fun walk down to the harbour. A nice boutique hotel, nicely refurbished rooms. Will recommend.

Super friendly and helpful staff

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at regents court. The staff were friendly and helpful. Fantastic location and lovely large well presented rooms. We're looking forward to returning to Sydney and will always stay at regents court now. And, the rooftop garden, what more do I have to say!!!

Beautiful building in great area, and thus close to fabulous eateries. Close also to botanic gardens, galleries, the bridge, the city etc. Not too far from airport either.

No hairdryer in room (not one that I could find anyhow; perhaps there was one somewhere but clearly not conveniently placed).

The customer service

I was disappointed that the reception staff rang to say she couldn't wait for us despite the fact that we were in a taxi 10 mins away and hadn't been told reception closed at 8. She did however wait and then went to charge us $50 more than quoted .She was officious it wasn't a pleasant beginning.
