The proximity to the city and shopping also the ease of getting from the railway to the hotel was a real bonus. Given the cost of the breakfast I expected fresh orange juice, not in a bottle similar to the one in the fridge. The coffee was dreadful, again a single plunger serve would have been helpful...I would never recommend the breakfast. |

Personally, coming straight from a long international flight rather early in the morning, I really loved the fact that my room was ready and I could go straight in for shower, sleep etc. It is also ideally located straight across from Central station and convenient to the Brisbane City Mall for shopping, eating etc. |

We arrived early in order to get ready for a wedding and the staff were very helpful in finding a room for us to use. The upgrade to a one-bedroom suite was appreciated too! It's location along with the excellent standard of its rooms is hard to beat. |

Great location, friendly feel and not too big and busy. Staff efficient and friendly. Breakfast disappointing quality....especailly expensive for a 10 and 9 year old too. We have stayed at hotels over the world and this was certainly for the quality, very expensive.Plus staff need better training re facilities. We asked when we checked in if there was a bar for a pre-dinner drink and the young man said it was closed every weekend and recommended another place! I realise the restaurant was but not the bar! . |

Although check-in wasn’t until 2pm, we dropped our bags at the hotel earlier and were advised that our room was available to use immediately. Very welcome, as my husband had just flown in from the UK and was grateful to be able to use the shower etc. With this, and along with the excellent room facilities, cleanliness and proximity for our needs, we were very pleased with our (on-line) choice and will definitely recommend to others and stay there again. |

room 3002, there was a problem with the air-com, which did not allow for any sleep. Althought reported to front desk, a replacement room could not be found accept in another hotel somewhere on George St. I have complained to management and expect a reduction of room rate to follow. |
