The Room was small but well designed, I liked the check in and check out times, Valet service was good 24 room service was on offer but you could not order drinks after 11 pm. |

Excellent central location and friendly and helpful staff. Hotel had a very traditional feel to it and a very good bar. Our room was a little small and needed a good vacumming in parts!! |

Convenient location, good staff, comfort, prompt service, modern facilities, reasonable rates Skybus link bus does not pick up from there now; wrong bill given on checkout. No toaster in room, TV not viewable from most of room. |

The friendly staff Our rooms were not ready despite us arriving well after check-in time. Room service did not arrive after an hour and a half after ordering and another phonecall had to be made. |

In was close to transport and right in the middle of the city so easy to get places. We expected a little more ritz for the price, but still we had a blast. |

I like that my friends and I were happily accommodated with two rooms next to eachother when i requested, and the rooms were clean and the foyer is lovely and the location is fantastic!! I didn't like that i thought I had paid for my room on the internet when it took my credit details, but thats my own fault for not reading it carefully enough |

Preservation of the old architecture in the common areas - all the wood and stained glass windows - just lovely!!!!! Reception desk staff, concierge and housekeeping staff members in particular VERY good!!! When given my key to get in the room it wouldn't open the door and Brian at Reception was very helpful - came up with me after I came down to make sure it opened the door - a nice thing to do - shows real class - interest in helping the guests and making their stays the best. Above and beyond! Room a little small but can't do anything about that - was fine - bathroom good. TV a little difficult to see from the bed and no place to sit other than the bed. No TV to watch in front of tread mills in exercise room although really was better to jog outside by the river!!! |

Central location, interesting architectural features in main entrance. Clean overall. Friendly staff. Minor issue - had 30 min for breakfast one morning, food not replaced / replenished quickly - did not get to have full buffet even though I paid for one - continental was well stocked, not not hot food. Pity. |

very helpful and flexible staff. they locked up my bike when i was not out riding it. nice view of river and city it is right across from the train station, and is therefore very noisy in the rooms that face the train tracks. there was also a lot of noisy construction workeers hollering and banging around all night on the train tracks. i think if you were in a room that did not face the tracks, it would be much more quiet, but you would not have the nice view. |

All the hotel staff impressed us with their friendly, courteous and professional manner. The hotel is ideally located for access to shopping and site seeing. Also its cleaniness and character was a positive. Bathroom a bit on the small side. |

The staff were friendly, and were happy to accomodate our requests, and even moved us to a bigger room as it was not the room that we ordered. The hot water ran out, and they also charged an extra "bond" to my credit card without informing me (which will apparently be refunded in a few days). |

Its location was fantastic. I had a deluxe room and it was very small. Nowhere for my suitcase unless I struggled and placed it on top of the tv cabinet, or let it take up much needed space on the floor. Whilst a non smoking Hotel, the stench of cigerette came through from somewhere. |

We were only there for a short time. in Melbourne for the grand final' so were only in our room for about 8 hours, but it was fine. The staff were friendly and helpful. |
