Rendezvous Hotel Melbourne

The location was good for getting around the CBD.

The staff were lacking customer service. Made no effort to make you feel welcome.

enjoyed the central location to tourist attractions, food and shopping. enjoyed a quiet, clean and undisturbed access to my room. found the majority of the staff professional and friendly.

there was only three things i didn't like about the hotel. firstly, was disappointed that there was no pool or spa access. secondly, we had requested a several ocassions that other people i was travelling with be allocated rooms on the same floor as myself - this did not happen and in fact we were on three seperate floors. as three women travelling to a unfamiliar city together - this was disappointing. thirdly, and most frustrating for myself - as i was unexpectidly ill during my stay - on two ocassions i requested ice (once from room service and once from the concerige). both times i waited for over 2 hours and never received ice. the ice i was requesting was for me to suck on whilst ill - so it was very frustrating.

Beautiful hotel, lovely and clean. bar at the hotel was great. Great service at the bar and check in counter.

Showers in the morning were tepid. Check out counter was very busy when leaving. Could have done with more staff. Room very small, intimated there would be views over the yarra. Definately no views

The location of the hotel for transport links and its proximity to the main shopping area and restaurants.

Ease of being in Melbourne city

Liked everything.

Great location. Staff friendly and efficient. Good atmosphere at reception area and in public areas of the hotel. Room quiet and good value for money.

I liked the location and the heritage building and the proximity to the lovely alleyways and arcades that I love to visit to eat and see a few different types of shops.

We had an upgrade. The location wa excellent.

Service and comfort and design of hotel rooms. good value for combination of all of them

Location close to the centre of city. Valet parking. Clean room with excellent TV range of channels.

Room was too small for 2 persons (we had been upgraded to "deluxe")

the staff were fantastic and the lobby impressive.

The walls were very thin, i had the pleasure of listening to a fellow guest throwing up in the middle of the night, and every time someone opened the smokestop door outside our room it sounded like they were coming in our door. I had to resort to earplugs.

It was very quiet and clean. Staff were friendly and obliging.

The room I had did not have a view, although this was not an issue.
