Rendezvous Hotel Melbourne  

Convienient location as close to trams abd trains

Beds a bit hard, hot water ran out quite quickly when other guests showering at similar times, pillows not firm/high enough giving sore neck

The architecture and how they are not modernising it. The location was one of the reasons we chose to stay there. .

Our only complaint was that there was little information on how to work the kettle, eg we were unaware that there was a key/card pad around the corner of the tea making facilities. We were also unaware of the procedure to have your room cleaned by using the keypad outside the door so therefore our room didn't get serviced. I think that sort of information should be printed on a card and placed on the desktop. We usually read all the information placed on the table/desk

The staff made us feel very welcome and important. The room although small had everything we needed. It is within walking distance to shopping, Restaurants and entertainment. Also close to public transport. The cost of the accommodation is a fair price. I really love the old and well preserved part of it. Great relaxing bar.

They helped with everything and ever so friendly

The location was excellent. The rooms were small but adequate. The bar area is very pleasant.

There was no view and we couldn't open any windows. We looked out onto a brick wall. The carpet was in need of repair. The shower needed a hand rail in it. The bathroom was very small with the toilet very close to the bath. The shower was difficult to get in and out of. My mother is nearly 80 and was anxious about a fall. TV needs upgrading.

Reasonably convenient and close to station.

Poor mobile and internet reception in some parts of the room.

This was my first trip to Melbourne. I picked Rendezvous as it was close to the station, within walking distance to some shopping. I was being picked up to attend a meeting, this position was easy for that pick up and the staff are helpful with taxis too.

Not much . told us they had up graded our room . hate to see the other room.

Room to small

Yes, I would recommend the Rendezvous Hotel Melbourne without hesitation. Perfect location, spacious rooms, cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff where nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. Carol McCullough

The bar closed too early !!

The interior of the Hotel was very nice, well maintained with a lot of character. Most of the staff were very friendly and willing to help. The location on Flinders Street was great, with easy access to the Yarra river, shops and trams. Overall, I thought it was good value for money also.

The interior of the corridors and rooms upstairs seemed a bit depressing, very dark with an overwhelming majority of black and grey based colour schemes. This however, was the only criticism I had of the Hotel.

Good service and hospitality and in a great location being right across from flinders street station so it was in walking distance of everything.

Room was really small and walls were dirty.
