Republic Apartments

Appartement manquant de propreté ( moquette sale, aspirateur malodorant, vaisselle sale ( casserole et poele) manque d'ustensile( cafetiere etc.;) très bruyant car donnant sur avenue très passagére , ramassage des poubelles de 4 heures a 6 heures du matin. Entre les bruits de la rue et les poubelles, impossible de dormir. Eloigné du centre ville.

L'appartement était spacieux, confortable et propre. Bien équipé avec une agréable terrasse et une jolie vue. Il était ensoleillé. Le jour du départ, le personnel nous a aidé à transporter nos bagages, que nous avons pu laisser quelques heures dans un lieu clos. Centre commercial en bas et à quelques minutes de marche du centre ville Un excellent rapport qualité-prix.

Une petite réserve, le four n'était pas très propre et la hotte ne fonctionnait pas.

The location of the Republic Apartments is wonderful. Close to shopping malls, restaurants, grocery, transportation - all within walking distance. The staff is great. Always attentive to every issue and request. Very happy to assist with luggage, directions, calling cabs; any concierge service needed! Having the use of the full kitchen and laundry facilities was great. Much needed for the long stay. The large patio/terrace with the huge sliding doors was great to come home to after a long day. Best value around the cbd!

This is a very comfortable hotel, but if you are into super cleanliness, you may be disappointed. The furnishings are dated and slightly worn, the bathroom could be cleaner (mostly in the shower and around the shower doors), the refrigerator and entire kitchen could use a good scrubbing (our dishes needing washing before use, the cooktop needed degreasing, our tea kettle was grimey and the fridge door had mold starting to grow on the seal). A few repairs were also needed in the unit, but staff was quickly sent and the everything was well taken care of. I think a few details were overlooked - and it happened to be my room with all the issues!

The Republic Apartments was ideal as it was in the centre making it a lot more convenient for shopping as the Woolworths Shopping Centre was less than a minutes walk away and most of the other nearby shopping centres were 10-15 minutes drive away. Also it has a pool, gym and spa which was good for exercise and relaxation. Staff were very friendly and helpful even suggesting ideas/attractions in the city.

I guess the only downside would be that the Bedrooms did not have air-con but that's not really important as the ceiling fans were more than ideal.

Price & location were good. Proximity of supermarket & easy access via car was great.

The rooms were only fair. Bedrooms are hot in summer & cold in winter. (Stayed there before) Cooking facilities are sub par (Both times in different apartments)

Facilities and layout very good . We requested a double room and twin room and this was granted. Staff very helpful.

The apartments were clean, comfortable and was in a very central location. Really appreciated the free internet access and wi-fi which was great.

The pool and the spa was heated on the first day of our stay but on the 2nd and 3rd day it was not heated and the water was very cold, which was not very nice.

Apartment and hence more space then a motel.

The location was good and reasonbly sited for most areas that we wanted to visit.

The hotel was genearlly good but the cleanliness was a little disappointing.

I appreciated the support provided by the staff. The pool is great and very refreshing. It is close to a local woollies store for groceries. Finally I like feel of the place.

Great facilities in generously sized rooms.

Not quite as central as some other hotesl - but that is reflected in the price.

Clean, spacious, family friendly,adequately equipped, within easy walking distance to city centre and river walks, car park was a plus too - quite happy to stay there again.
