The room was very clean and comfortable

Finding it at night is not easy and resulted in a lengthy detour to get back to it after driving past the off ramp. We were looking for the archway to be lit up which it wasn't

excellent all round service and comfort

The rooms were clean and well cared for. The dining room catered for our meal needs and dietary requirements. The staff were pleasant and well mannered.

We have stayed at River View motel for many years now and whenever we go to Hobart our preference is always at this motel.

Great for visting MONA, could see it from our room. Room 1-9 face the river, great view. Staff where excellent. Rooms always clean. Great place to stay.

Needs new tvs

The toilet lights we were staying in were flickering when we reached and when we approached the reception, we were asked if we could change the lights ourselves. We were given two sizes of lightbulbs. None of them fitted. In the end, we had to interchange the lightbulb with another one in the laundry room. Secondly, the hot water in the shower was not working as it was making a very loud knocking sound and the whole wall was vibrating. In the end we had to use the bathtub and a bowl to shower instead as the reception was closed by the time we wanted to shower. The apartment which we were staying is beside the highway and it can get noisy at times. All in all, it was a bad experience staying here and would not even come back again.

The location is fantastic with lots of green space and so close to the MONA museum. The staff were pleasant. The walls were clean and the carpet also.

The sheets were almost threadbare. There were two long hairs on the pillow. The shower grouting was mouldy. There was no milk in the frig for a cups of tea. There was only one blanket and I couldn't find the electric blanket in the middle of the night when I got cold because it was not plugged in and the ends were tucked under the mattress.

Fairly quiet, little traffic noise == overall very good.. As you saw by my address ,it was a night away, Had dinner; excellent

Very close to the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA).

Bit of a hike to find food and supplies.

It was close to the river and had lovely ducks that visited. Good restaurant. Friendly staff

it was a bit noisy from the nearby road.

Very cloce to MONA. Cheap, but you get what you paid for.

The accommodation was great and safe for cars. Restaurant meals fantastic. We stay here every time we come to Hobart. We will not stay anywhere else.

Waiting 15 minutes for a drinks order to be taken at our table, no water bottle served until well after other guests were served who arrived well after we had. Not enough wait staff on duty for number of guests dining in house.
