John, the guy on reception was brilliant. He was so welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for him. He could not have been better and it was a pleasure to meet him. The room was spotlessly clean although a little dated. The pool was disappointing, very small and not very inviting.

I liked everything because it was centrally located, was clean and the staff was wonderful. I could easily walk to the shops for shopping or for dinner as the motel was very central. There was nothing to dislike about the Riviera Motel.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. The presentation online was different to reality. A two bedroom apartment was just a room and spare bed in a sitting area. That is deceptive.

Location was good, close to restaurants and facilities. Bed was comfortable and clean. Glad it is a no smoking venue. Bundaberg has many attractions, lovely Botanic Gardens and museums, turtle watching etc..

Handy to the city. Quite a few places to eat close by, including Les Chefs at the front of the motel. No stairs. Car parking right at your door for easy unpacking. The beds were not quite as hard as some other places we stayed and the shower was large. Teslstra & Optus reception quite poor in the area so you'd have to buy WiFi from the motel if you really needed it.

Close proximity to city centre - we had a wedding to attend and could even have walked back from the reception. Nothing really, we informed management that there was no light working in shower - really didn't worry us but management needed to know.
