Great location near the city center, the famous Centrale Market band the Centrale Bus Station. Lovely staff let US to storeour heavy luggages while we stayed in Kangaroo Island. Free upgrade in Spa room the second night without request.
Too soft mattress.
Location, ease of parking, cleanliness, friendly staff
ABC channel 2 very snowy, inability to tune to SBS, volume on channel 10 shocking, loud after midnight nightclub? music thumping away.
Car pack difficult to park with a larger car
The rooms were set out for today's world... iPads, every power/AV connection you could wish for in the room Good value food for a hotel restaurant
I was surprised the restaurant wasn't open for lunch but it wasn't a big issue for me.
Everything worked as expected. Room was large and the bed was comfortable. Double glazing made it quiet. Also it is just to the edge of the main nightlife areas. Walking distance to many places that we wanted to go.
You have to be OK with the Hindley St location to feel great about this hotel. No problem for me although we did make the 15 min walk to other areas often.
Beds are so comfty, but this time the king kept splitting down the middle.
Booked for 2 car parks having travelled some distance from out of town, to find there were non available. Just tell us before hand about the park around corner (that's cheaper too)
The room was comfortable but the noise from outside was a bit intrusive, it was Saturday night so we don't complain too much about that
Car parking was expensive, the alternative car parks were fine, but why do the hotel charge enough to drive people to park elsewhere I wonder?
Room was fine and have no problems there
restaurant menu not to my liking hard to find basic type meal
Liked that the rooms Were clean, everything was set up. It was perfect.
That the pool was not heated and the room air-conditioning didn't go below. 16 so it was very hot and muggie in the room. Other than that perfect.
No slippers in room. I requested. The staff said don't have. I checked with my colleagues, their rooms have. Then the staff said he would send one pair to me. Wait for 2 days and I checked with reception again, and finally, still don't have. Very basic provisions.
Location wise excellent, easy to get to and easy to get out from
Not enough parking had to park car at wilsons car park and walk back, very inconvenient to do at 3am
Had to change room because of problems with drainage system and hot water.Breakfast not many varieties and not good service
Convenient location to the conference I was attending however a distance from the shops and restaurants.
The room was cool and took a long time to warm up.
Convenient place nice room
Air conditional seems not working
The room had good space
I didn't like the that Rockford made me pay $200 bond!!!! I wasnt made aware when i was booking! The room was ok but i have stayed in better for less. I was late picking up my Mum from the airport because i have to wait for my room to be checked!!! Pillows shocking. Will not be staying at Rockford again
Price to high English breaky
Happy with room, staff, price... Facilities and location in CBD a bonus!
Very clean, good staff, beautiful rooms.
Noise from the night club opposite
Location was great, within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. Staff were very helpful, polite & friendly. IPad for guest use was a nice touch!
Might have been a good idea to check that previous guests browsing history had been deleted...oops!
Hotel itself was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. I booked a car park, my card didn't work initially but was easily rectified.
Nightclub across the road was noisy - although quietened down after midnight.
Upon arrival I was greeted by the receptionist, Harsh, who was very helpful and easy to communicate with. He upgraded me which I was really appreciative of and it made me feel special. He also made himself and the services of the hotel openly available to me. All very much appreciated.
The next morning there was a woman on the desk who wasn't that helpful or cheerful. I have my own business and know that first impressions count for a lot. I used to tell my receptionist staff that even if they didn't feel wonderful, then they should fake it until they feel it. I also explained to them that when they arrive at work they leave all their problems at the front door and they can pick them up on the way out.
