Novotel Rockford Darling Harbour  

The catering staff were the only bright light at this hotel. The catering staff were excellent, particularly the young guy who seems to run the show.

This hotel is a shocker. The concierge staff that I dealt with were rude. Firstly, as I was checking-in, I gave my name and they stated that their was no record of my booking. After 10-15 minutes, they found it and blamed booking.com for getting my name wrong...The room was, at best, a 3 star room. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything in the next room. As for the breakfast that was included? Well they had a record for one of the two nights that breakfast was included... No record, no breakfast. Don't waste your time staying here, you'll regret it.

The service was lovely, Location was excellent, Room was Great. We had a lovely stay. Made our anniversary a lovely experience away:)

I would have to say the only thing was we thought that the price was abit expensive for the room we had and that it didnt include anything ie no Breakfast no Parking included. (I am aware that you dont have parking facillites but I am also aware that you can pay for parking at your reception)

Toilet did not flush properly Shower over flowed into bathroom Receptionist had no shoes on.

Yes but the bed in the standard room was not comfortable and the shower bath not very safe due to size and access to it

Hotels computer system had messed up and overbooked so we got farmed out to the holiday inn across the street for our first night, might seem petty but meant we had to be up early the next morning to check out and back in. Have stayed at Rockford several times and would again as its a great hotel in a great spot- but the desk is incredibly slow at checkout time!!

Room was very comfortable (got a great night's sleep) Service at check in/out efficient Location great (was attending Roxette concert at SEC) Blind good for keeping city light out Good soundproofing of rooms

Cleaners were a bit noisy/ talking in halls in morning Breakfast disappointing-not a big enough area so had to wait; the food was not restocked very well (nor cutlery/glasses etc) and a bit average in quality.

Modern,comfortable,convenient,

(1) No hot water in shower (warm only ) (2) needs two arm chairs two people staying ??? if the other doesn't want to sit on the bed,and you would like to watch tv

The convenience of its location and helpfulness of staff.

The room safe didn't work. It was inconvenient to use safety deposit box.

Close to the Powerhouse Museum, Darling Harbour and Haymarket. Easy to get around and a great central location for all those attractions. It was clean, the staff were friendly and polite and the room was comfortable with a great view of the Chinese Gardens.
