Novotel Rockford Darling Harbour  

The catering staff were the only bright light at this hotel. The catering staff were excellent, particularly the young guy who seems to run the show.

This hotel is a shocker. The concierge staff that I dealt with were rude. Firstly, as I was checking-in, I gave my name and they stated that their was no record of my booking. After 10-15 minutes, they found it and blamed booking.com for getting my name wrong...The room was, at best, a 3 star room. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything in the next room. As for the breakfast that was included? Well they had a record for one of the two nights that breakfast was included... No record, no breakfast. Don't waste your time staying here, you'll regret it.

The convenience of its location and helpfulness of staff.

The room safe didn't work. It was inconvenient to use safety deposit box.

Close to the Powerhouse Museum, Darling Harbour and Haymarket. Easy to get around and a great central location for all those attractions. It was clean, the staff were friendly and polite and the room was comfortable with a great view of the Chinese Gardens.

The hotel was perfectly situated for our stay. The room was large, bright and clean. Staff were incredibly helpful and always happy to help with answering any questions we had, would definatley go there again and recomend to any family and friends.

Breakfast area looks run down room service dishes and dirty cups left in room after serviced even when reported to reception and assurances given that someone would come and finish cleaning the room no one came.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. We had a lovely view of the Japanese garden next door and were very centrally located to get out and about. The staff were very friendly and when I realized I had forgotten a small item after departure this was sent to me with very efficient service, which I greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend it to others.

The location adjacent Chinese Gardens is very peaceful whilst central city is at your foot steps.

I did not like the fact,that the room Tv did not operate. The breakfirst buffet area did have a rather sticky floor due to inadecuate cleaning after some spills on the floor. These were not as complaints rather than guests observations.

Access to convention centre

Cigarette smoke smell in corridors on 4th floor and smoking in roomssmell leeching into our room. No extra pillows and tardiness of staff to follow up requests for an additional blanket.
