it made us aware of our childhood and our upbringing i memories of our old homes, the good times
for what we got , nothing it had a nice feeling
Walking distance to everywhere in Ross. Tim was very helpful. Having breakfast waiting in the fridge was a great idea. Will certainly recommend it to others and would stay there again.
The mattress on the bed was easy to hard. Otherwise, it was the best place to stay.
Room smelt a bit musty. Not a lot of attention to detail. Gardens were a shambles. Needed some tender loving care.
Well maintained and comfortable bedroom with welcoming host. Ross is a gorgeous quiet town, just off the main highway, ideal base for touring. Room was great and more than enough breakfast supplies available in shared breakfast room.
Nothing, it was a lovely place.
The lack of someone to greet us. The lack of detail in the written 'instructions'. The poor breakfast provisions labeled in the fridge. The small size of the room.
We had a separate area of the house which included the bedrooms, bathroom and a small sitting area. House is conveniently close to the attractions of Ross and the host is quite a character.
Only slight negative was the rather small shower.
Bed was a bit squeaky
We were the only guests their and so had the whole house for us, what was very very nice, especially for the kids. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
Check the "best before" (MHD) dates before eating their breakfast - jams, honey, etc. were overdue by 2 months and longer. Unfortunately, there was no one to welcome us at arrival. Instead we had to call someone to get a code for a safe, and so on ...
In heart of town, homey, period building in a town seemingly full of B&B's. The local dog who sleeps in the main street and doesn't move for cars, was a highlight
We paid top dollar for this place and got better value elsewhere in Tasmania
Comfortable beds, quiet, garden aspect, spacious bathroom, in the centre of the village and right across from the best bakery I have experienced.
One large spider (dealt with), a minor inconvenience.
Old world charm
Quaint little village with lots of history & friendly people
Rooms were very comfortable, free port in the lounge area. Located in the main street with easy access. Continental breakfast was plentiful & nice. Would recommend this B & B to anyone staying in the area.
Comfortable and cosy.
Lovely old cottage in an historic village.
it was quiet, comfortable & very private.
As a B&B accommondation, Ross Cottage lacks staffs, but the host Tim is very kind and considerate, plus the warm and wonderful decoration of the whole house, we trully felt at home there. It's a perfect experience at Ross Cottage.
booking in and garden neglect and price
comfortable, soft beds, good inclusions and amenities. great location.
Bed was comfortable could walk anywhere in town
Shower tiny Room small Did not see anyone that worked there continental breakfast was left in fridge we did not bother with it
Easy access to surrounding attractions and not far to drive to Campbell Town for dinner
Bathroom was small
Very relaxing place to stay.
The village is lovely, peaceful, and very central. Fantastic to have a washing machine to use.
Contintental breakfast, dissapointing with pre-packaged American jams and margarine. Not show casing Tasmania at all. The whole B&B was a bit tied looking, musty in the room, and gardens un-kept. It had lost the personal touch.
Ross is a lovely place
