My children and I had an awesome time. The facilities were great with friendly helpful staff. My boys enjoyed the swimming pool and games room. If we had stayed longer, I'm sure they would have liked to try tennis. Close to all amentities and easy access to the highways. Definitely recommend AA+++.

The rooms were fabulous, we stayed in 2 different ones with 2 different spectacular views! All of the conveniences of home at our fingertips in both. The location is second to none. The pool facilities are beautifully designed clean and an appropriate length for a decent swim. Beach access is superb...no roadways to contend with! The staff has been very helpful and accommodating.

Only one thing needs improving. The advertised "fully equipped" gym is very dated, is located in the basement in a room with no view, has no treadmill or elliptical. This one modification would greatly enhance the overall rating of the facility.

Location and listening to waves crashing on the beach! The view was amazing, bed was so comfy and spa was great. Pool looked inviting and its huge! Bbqs around the pool area all with cleaning equipment - think thats a great idea! Loved our stay, will be back!

Gym - equipment old, but nothing a walk along the beach didn't fix :)

The location and pool complex. The front staff were very helpful and friendly. The apartment although "tired" was roomy and well equipped. Free wifi in the lobby was useful as was the underground car parking space. Would have liked to have stayed longer.

The apartment was dirty - The walls, light switches and floors were dirty - so much so that I cleaned before settling in. Food scraps were under the TV cabinet, spills on the kitchen floor hadn't been cleaned up and light switches had dirty finger marks on them. All easily cleaned with some cleaner and a wet cloth!

The location was fantastic - beachfront, lovely view of the ocean and coastline, very peaceful. Being away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the Gold Coast was great for us. Our apartment was spacious and homely. It had everything we needed, especially a great view! The pool was lots of fun for the kids and relaxing for us. We all enjoyed the spa pool and the steam room as well.

the pool area was great and the location is right at the beac.

We paid to have a deluxe 2 bdr unit which stated it was party refurbished. The bedrooms were old and tired - the carpets was disgusting (they need new carpet) and the whole unit needed a paint. the rug in the living room had turned brown where it should have been white - it needed a good clean or replacing. I am not sure why I paid the additional to have a deluxe unit, do not think there would be any difference between that and a standard unit - there was no refurbishment of the unit!

We loved our time at the Royal Palm. They sent an SMS to advise our room was ready and we checked in around 10am. This was great as we could then plan our day. The kids loved the pool. It was heated and had a spa and slide. It has direct access to the beach and has a great play park about 200m away. Easy access to the freeway as well and was about 25 mins to the theme parks. All in all we had a great time. Only downside was that we didn't have long enough. Could easily have stayed another week.

Staying in a services apt means that some apt wil be different. We had no air con. But our location was great. The building is very tired and is in an1980s time warp but the facility and location and value for nobey far exceed the silver wallpaper. Nice to be away from surfers

The hotel seemed to have been decorated 20 to 30 years ago, and just left to deteriorate. Decor is very dated and the rooms were very dusty. Whilst the floors and surfaces had been cleaned, there was a thick layer of dust on lots of things that obviously hadn't been cleaned for months, like the plastic plants, picture frames, air con unit, fly screens, etc. The reception was very dated, wallpaper coming off the walls, etc - I am not sure how bad things have to get before being repaired or replaced, but assume it is just about at the limit for even someone with really low standards.
