Nos sentimos muy cómodas. Su ubicación, muy buena, pese a que una vez nos perdimos y dábamos vueltas terminando siempre en el Rydges de los vientos ! Es una anécdota. Su personal, muy atento y presto a solucionar dificultades.

staffs are very nice. the room is very clean. the hotel is excellent.

Bed was comfortable and cleaniness of the room was good. View was wonderful. Free car parking.

Basically we were unhappy with the location to start with, finding that we weren't actually on the esplanade as such and that there was another Rydges closer to the hub where the restaurants and water park was. The name is very deceiving. The following was also very dissappointing: * We had to trolley our own luggage up to the room ourselves. * Mini bar wasn't stocked at all (and I mean completely empty, not even a trace of an item), we arrived and checked in just after 11.30pm so therefore the bar was also closed once we'd realised there was no mini bar. So nothing was available. The front desk said they would have it restocked the following day but it wasn't. * Coffee mugs and drinking glasses were pitiful in size (why bother even having them). Couldn't even make a decent sized hot drink or have a decent sized glass to use or mix any drinks in. * Balcony didn't have any outdoor furniture on it at all. With the beautiful tropical weather that Cairns has it's a given that people would want to spend their mornings and/or evenings sitting on the balcony enjoying the weather and the view. * The TV remote worked when it felt like it. The volume would increase easily enough but when wanting to turn the volume down the channel would change at the same time. * The airconditioner couldn't be adjusted for the individual room so we either had to deal with the temp or turn it off altogether. * There was a terrific A4 booklet on the front checkin desk outlining all the places to go or whats going on in Cairns and where etc....but it was in Japanese......... we were told there wasn't one in English, only the individual brochures near the tourist desk. * The lift displays a sign saying that the pool is on the 1st floor but then there is no sigage on the first floor directing you to the set of stairs to go down to (virtually) the ground floor to access it? Are we supposed to guess where it is?

Parking

Room was not serviced once in a 5 day stay, linen was extremely old and tired.

Hotel has excellent beds. It has a great view (sea side).

The hotel is not really close to the centre. However. it does not really matter, as Cairns is very small.

Staff, room size, food very good, swimming pools with gardens, location in Cairns.

At the centre of cbd esplanade. Closed to reef fleet terminal. Good value and big rooms. Great sea view.

The room facilities and design is a bit old to me. Mattress too soft. Otherwise it was perfect

the four rooms booked were all on different floors which displeased our overseas guests. The attitude of the staff member was either take it ir leave it.Oviously, business is to good.

Once again, another enjoyable and relaxing stay, and as usual the room was clean and spacious,,,with the best views out to the inlet!

Convenient location, views, pool, service availability, meals

Room servicing was a little under standard. NOT a major issue though

Accommodation, chef cooking

We were advised there would be moreton bay bugs on the Friday and Saturday night seafood but there was none.

Views of mountains at sunset.

20 minute walk to main shops cafes and port. Also breakfast was really expensive, $30 for full continental.

Everything! We were on a honeymoon stay and in a 'deluxe' room. It was in need of some deaperate TLC/renovations and the whole place felt like it should have been torn down and rebuilt 10 years ago. The staff were unhelpful and some of them just rude. We came back from tea before 10pm with plans to have a few quiet drinks by the bar and it was closed already. Room service was rediculously expensive as was Internet.

Clean rooms and great staff. Restraurant staff provided very high level of service.

Parking was a little limited but not bad enough to diminish any other aspects of the stay.

Great value for money! Such a cosey place. Fantastic pool area and facilities. Friendly staff.

Friendly staff, Beautiful clean and spacious rooms with excellent views over the inlet, very comforting and relaxing,,will definately stay again in the near future.

Room arrangement are really good And clean n tidy,

located on the water fron and very close to the main shopping streets and bars and restraunts. Very nice hotel, nice clean rooms. Stayed in a twin which was fine and did the job. a small balcony with pretty much just standing room but it did the job
