Bathroom Very Used Bar amenities Stools seats very tired
The bed was too soft and did not offer support. Very bad for our back.
Room was not made up no soap tea bags or coffee no breakfast tag to hang on door no liners in bins very poor
on arrival we were told that a problem had arisen with our room, thinking the worst we were surprised to be told that we had been upgraded to a much better room
having only one night stay
Very small bathroom. Struggled to fit two people at once. Room quire dated - expected newer from Rydges
Close to live theatres
Can pay same price for nicer accomm. But was comfortable
Good location and good price.
Dated furniture, small TV
the location was excellent and the friendliness of the staff was very welcoming
the car park facility had very narrow spaces and it was nearly impossible to get in or out of my car..
The hotel was very close to the theatre, museum, and shops. It was comfortable but the room was on the small side.
The bathroom was so small one could hardly turn around and the door kept banging on the toilet.
Convenient location. Breakfast in the room was good.
The rooms could use some sprucing up. Some days our room wasn't serviced until 4.30 which is poor. We had to ask would they dust and clean the bed head.
Great location to theatres and centre of the city. Secure, cheap car parking that wasn't limited to just check in and out times. Very easy to get to. Stunning foyer and great access to Restaurant/Bar.
Only one bedside table in Queen Room. Room was called a Queen Deluxe, nothing Deluxe about it. Have stayed in a bigger, better set up Queen Room there before. Tiny bathroom but suitable enough if staying for a night. Don't like drink cups being kept in the bathroom with toilet germs. I found bed very uncomfortable but hubby didn't notice it. Don't like seeing mould on the bottom of the shower curtain. A bit noisy as to be expected centrally in the city.
We loved the location in the city and the beautiful buffet breakfast.
Rubbish from another room was dumped at our front door upon arriving back from our dinner and concert. The pressure from the shower was next to nothing! It was horrible!! I've had better showers camping! It practically dribbled out, and thats not exaggerated! No ice in the freezer for our drinks.
The hotel didn't have our booking and hotel was fully booked, One of us had to sleep on fold out sofa.
Bed was really comfy! Great lay out of the room and fantastic location.
We stayed in the queen spa suite, the pictures of the spa were completely different and we ended up with a small bath tub with jets which you could hardly feel. Both heaters in the room made a horrible noise and one smelt like it was burning. Would pay to check them before arrival.
My credit card was charged $1.02 the day I booked in and then I was charged $212.14. When I booked online I it was meant to be $209.00. I have no idea why I was charged the extra amount.
Staff were happy to move me to another room after my complaint.
Maybe because I was a lone traveller I was given a room that was quite small, the heater was broken and the room was quite cold. The bathroom was very small and had a cracked hand basin. Worse than that was the noise from my neighbours at 3am, shouting, swearing and banging doors. Even normal volume conversation carried through the locked doorway that adjoined our rooms.
Clean. Quiet. Cosy bed.
X1 thin towel each only. Washed hair and only 1 towel inadequate.
No porterage, no in room safes. Very public bar, not comfortable for meetings. For the price & star rating Rydges did not measure up.
Location was awesome, bar was great albeit a bit pricey..
Unfriendly welcome from staff who questioned our debit card and then checked us in to a room that had not been cleaned after previous occupant. When room was made up, they forgot bath towells and to restock bar fridge with water etc. which we had to do when staff knocked on our door after requesting the bath towells in the morning. We booked two rooms as we had friends arriving and requested if we could be at the very least on same floor which staff member said cannot guarantee and consequently we were 12 floors apart. On check out there was a huge que and when eventually making it to front reception, husband was asked if we had used the mini bar which he replied no however, we did omit to using bar so that we could fix that account up, then staff said we will have to check mini bar, you can go back and stand in que, which he did without any fuss! To top it off we were told on check in the car park cost would be $29 and then end up being charged $54 which at that point we wanted to just get the hell out of there!! My husband and I did not make any complaint or make a fuss whilst staying there as we are not that way inclined but, even our friends kept saying you should say something hence this reply! My husband and I are well travelled throughout USA, Asia and Europe and this is the first time ever that I have made a complaint and been this disappointed in accommodation.
Thin towels, one face cloth between two, unhelpful staff
Really comfy bed
Nothing to dislike
Great breakfast Very comfortable rooms
Had to pay for WIFI
Closeness to theatres and team lines into centre of town.
Chairs in the business centre very dangerous in regards to the tilt - staff advised.
