Thoroughly enjoyed a great nights sleep.. the resturant I would recommend
Absolutely loved the European spa bath. And the walk in rain shower. Great size for two people.
We booked this hotel because it had a spa bath and a roof top pool and gym. We were very disappointed to find out the pool was closed when we got their due to a private function, i think we should have been informed upon booking so we could stay elsewhere. Check out was 11 am so had no time to enjoy the pool in the morning. The toilet/shower was absolute filth, dirty toilet bowl, toilet paper, ciggatte buts and towels on the floor.
Staff were exceptionally helpful. Charlotte on the front desk couldn't do enough to help us on several occasions. Drink staff at the bar were excellent
Terrible car park
Property is run down. Maintenance is poor - broken shower head, broken exhaust fan, broken lift lights...... In a room designed for 2 people, you don't need 12 pillows and cushions.... Requirement for a $100 bond when checking in. Never seen that anywhere else in the world. If they looked after the place better, they might get more of the customers who wouldn't steal or break things....
Needs an update, ameneties tired and past their prime, dirty bathrooms, rooms, tired beds, not enough blankets
Good location, large rooms, very comfortable, helpful staff
Bed was very firm
The professionalism of the staff behind the check in/out counter. served by CLrowledgec The bathroom, darkness of the room
Clock not next to the bed
Spacious room with everything I needed. Table plus desk plus comfortable armchair plus fridge. Location excellent for Melbourne Univ, easy walk to Lygon Street. Fast room service, good WiFi.
Pillows too hard for me. Water from shower had to be blocked by a mat - shower screen very small. Could not work switch for handshower.
Bar staff went the extra mile
Dated & waited long periods for the slow lift
I liked the room service breakfast and the cool bar, where I relaxed with the paper and a coffee in the morning and a drink at night.
From the staff to facilities, everything was perfect!
Location and convenience. Two very comfortable double beds
Room set up - Room snacks etc had obviously been tampered with and were not new Bathroom door did not close properly
Location. Lovely clean, spacious apartment.
Squeaky hinge on apartment door and noisy air conditioning in bedroom two.
It was clean, comfortable and value for money.
The bathroom was too small
SECOND NIGHT Sleeping in a quieter room.
First night (room 210) noisy air con or similar was to loud to sleep. It was audible in the hall way on level 3 also in the same spot.
The room was well appointed, taxis were available outside as soon as I walked out, the fridge and mini bar were well stocked.
I rang reception 3 times to complain about the noise from immediately above me. A drunk woman dragged furniture & cheap shoes around the pool for 2 hours 11pm - 1pm. Obviously trying to get attention from the wedding guests adjoining the pool. The receptionist agreed it was too loud & indicated he couldnt do anything about it.
Brendan at the reception desk gave great service. His care made the difference from ordinary to exceptional
Conveniently located, comfortable bed, desk and sofa. Great Wi-Fi. Clean facilities.
Only one lift going up and down, very slow. Hard to get in and our during peak hour. Some of the staff don't seem very interested in helping guests. Things take a very long time. Eg, extra towels takes an hour to bring up - and they are wet!
i have stayed here numerous times this year would always stay here if can get a good price
Was able to book at 9 that night. The receptionist dude was super nice and funny! Give than a raise
That the boss I can call to con plan
The young tell me me and andrew onely stay three yimes was a lie
Location That there was a table in the room Warm
The shower was horrible. Not just the lack of water it was either boiling hot or cold, could not get a balance. Asked another guest if the same for them and they said yes. There is no way I could have washed my hair and this would prevent me staying in future despite perfect location for Melb Uni. Carbonara from room service not nice.
Didier went above and beyond helping us run our conference smoothely!!
This hotel, close to the Victoria Market and plenty of trams passing by, represents a great location at a great price. The staff were absolutely delightful and I would stay there again but ask for a renovated room.
On my second visit, a week later, I was given the room next door to the one I had previously. Sadly this was an unrenovated room so the draft from the bathroom was cold and the airconditioning was so noisy I had to turn it off. It was very disappointing after the experience I had had a week earlier.
