the location, the view, the large beds
the location of the tea and coffee making facilities
Great Location Bedroom was lovely with an excellent ocean view Friendly staff
Poor wifi in my room, only slightly better when using it on the balcony
location quiet We made the most of our holiday and the room we were given.
We did not get the room we requested. Told there was no alternative as they were fully booked with corporate guests. Booked six months in advance and had to have a family room with two double beds and bunks! Breakfast was overpriced, no laid up tables and not enough seating. Birds landing on tables frequently and no inside seating. Have stayed at other Rydges hotels and this one is nothing like the others we have stayed in.
The location is superb and relaxing around the pool was lovely. Great food in restaurant out front
Not enough staff in restaurant, only one staff member was available in busy lunch rush
The room smelt very musty
Extremely comfortable bed. Spacious Excellent bistro Will stay there again Coffee machine a great add on
Not Much, cant remember so that's good.
fabulous location. Really enjoyed the view from the balcony. Lovely staff.
Hotel was a little dated. A few more lounges were needed around the pool.
Very luxurious room and soft bed after 3 weeks in Japan where rooms were small and beds often very firm.
Front desk confusion about booking on our 6am arrival after a long flight - turned out our booking was marked a no-show even though I had rung to advise we would not be arriving till after 4am. Luckily it was still available as we were exhausted. There was some confusion at checkout as well. Didn't have any problems with any of the hotels in Japan where we don't even speak the language, so this was disappointing to come home to. Wifi was unreliable in the room.
Staff very friendly and prompt
Bathroom - soap was awful black bits coming off as you washed hands, didn't like the taps in bath it was confusing and wasted water. Ceiling had lots of black spots above bed
Everything except the bathroom door locking
Bathroom door locked and I couldn't open. Took 15 minutes after calling reception for someone to come. I appreciate it was busy, however if a child had been locked in there it would have been a very frightening experience
Outstanding view from balcony, big comfortable room
Whats not to like?!
Wi Fi Helpful staff at reception
Wi Fi was weak Did not clear rubbish bin on one day during our stay
proximity, good staff
A bit jammed up on internet during peak evening times
Space in room and getting things done in the room
Shower in the bath
checking was 2pm but the room is not ready by then，have to wait for another 30minutes
The staff at Tradewinds Cairns were fantastic - especially Charlie - who looked after us from day one. This has been the best stay we have had in all our travels and we will certainly return to the Tradewinds, Cairns...the sooner the better! We were so comfortable and the location was ideal. We cannot speak highly enough about our stay.
No complaints at all.
The bed was very comfortable.
Bathroom was a little dated.
Wifi reception was patchy
Good availability of parking
Wi-fi is absolutely dreadful! Rooms are very tired and dated.
Very good location. Spacious room. Nice pool. Balcony good. Very good tour desk & selection of brochures.
Breakfast OK but not worth $29pp extra. More sun lounges needed around pool. Complimentary biscuits to have with a cup of tea in room should be included, when rates are at $160+ a night. More hanging hooks needed in bathroom, as well as an extra towel.
The pool was cold
Good check in Reasonable sized room Lots of eateries near by Good location, easy walking
rooms very 70's
King size bed, hot shower, good bathroom.
noisy aircon (couldnt sleep it was so loud) one elevator for such a large hotel very expensive for a very basic hotel
Located within easy walking distance to CBD & restaurants, great view from balcony, very comfy bed, liked everything especially the complimentary upgrade to the executive floor :)
